Can You Grow A Flower Once It

Does the flower, tulips, bloom only once per year?

Yes, in the spring. You can "force" them to bloom at another time, but they naturally bloom only once a year. After the flower dies, do not cut back the leaves. Allow them to turn yellow and die off before cutting them. As they die, they are feeding the bulb for next year's bloom.

After my cannabis flowers, how long do I let it grow?

That depends on what you are describing as ‘flowers’.Obviously if they are male plant flowers, you pull them and destroy the plants before any flowers manage to open and release pollen, unless of course you are breeding them for seed.Female flower heads, or ‘buds’ as they are generally known take 6 to 8 weeks to develop and should be harvested within days of the pistils withering and discolouring from white to tan. As they wither, the teardrop shaped calyxes at their base will swell adding bulk to your bud, but then thin out if left too long. All this is dependent on strain, of which there are many types and phenotypes. If growing outdoors as nature intended, weather conditions often dictate ideal harvest time. Rain will cause bud rot as the withering heads become very absorbent so it is not always possible to harvest at the ideal moment in the bud’s development.Sort answer : Harvest immediately after flowering, as it is the flowers you want to smoke.

How can I grow lotus flowers in my home?

The lotus is an exotic aquatic plant of which all parts are edible. It produces an attractive bloom that opens in the morning, with the sunrise, and closes in the late afternoon. Because of this blooming pattern, ancient Egyptians believed the lotus plant gave birth to the sun. This majestic plant is usually found growing in shallow garden ponds, but you can also adapt it to grow inside a home. Select an appropriate container and provide adequate environmental conditions to successfully grow your lotus plant indoors.Step 1Soak a lotus tuber in a plastic container of warm water until it begins producing sprouts. This may take up to two weeks.Step 2Fill a plastic nondraining planter with 3 inches of clay soil. The diameter of the pot should be 18 inches and the depth should be at least 6 inches.Step 3Very gently place the lotus tuber into the pot. Use caution in regards to the sprouts growing from the tuber. They can easily be damaged.Step 4Gradually add soil over the tuber so that there is a depth of 1 inch of soil above the top of the plant.Step 5Apply a thin layer of pea gravel on top of the soil and fill the pot with warm water. The gravel will keep the tuber from floating out of the soil.Step 6Place the pot in a sunny window sill where the plant will receive a full day of sunlight. The recommended amount of sunlight is six to eight hours per day.Step 7Keep the temperature warm to induce blooming. The air should be above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.Step 8Check the water level of the lotus plant every day. All parts of the plant, except for the growing tip, should be exposed to water constantly.Step 9Add a lotus fertilizer tablet to the lotus container every two weeks.

How many flowers can grow on one sunflower stalk.?

It really depends on the variety of sunflower. Some sunflowers will produce multiple small heads on one stalk, while other more common varieties only have one stalk and one head.
I have a a few planted around my yard. some are single head mammoths (but for some reason one is getting 2 heads), but I also have smaller varieties in one corner that are reddish orange with several small heads all over them.

How long after flowers appear should I start to see cucumbers growing on my plant?

When your cucumbers start to bloom it more than likely will bloom with male blooms only. After a while you will notice a little cucumber on the vine with a bloom on the end of it. That is the female bloom and has to cross pollinate with the male bloom. Once it has and the bloom is set the cucumber will begin to grow. They grow quite fast. I have a 50' row and we had to pick daily to keep the nice size pickle cucumbers off the vine. If you have the salad cucumbers once they begin to grow you can have nice big ones in just a day or two. Harvest them any size you want but remember size dose matter. The bigger ones are not as tasty as the small ones. Just let them grow to a nice size and harvest.

Here is a web that will show the difference and how to cross pollinate if you have trouble.

How long does it take to grow and smoke weed?

realistically, you're talking a plant in seedling stage for 2weeks.Then veg for 4weeks.Then flower for 8–12 weeksthen dry for 2 weeks. Then cure for however long you decide. I go with 3 month minimum, that way it's like a fine wine. So, roughly you're talking 14 weeks, or 3 & a half months minimum. But if you rush it, it'll reflect on the finished product. Don't expect a massive amount, an oz per plant is fine for a noob. There will be those that will suggest clones, but you'll need to grow a mother plant first which would add more time. if you can buy clones, great - if not, wait to you've ran a cycle or two before taking clones. In terms of pushing clones right into flower, in an attempt to skip the veg & save time you're talking more risk with the law. More plants = more prison time. Its called a sea of green, it's a good method, but takes experience & the system will be pretty expensive.Try growing an autoflower first, they're the easiest. Then an indica dom strain, that way the height will be easier managed & have a shorter flower time.Remember, use the KISS method - keep it simple, stupid. Don't invest too much into it until you're sure its right for you & read up on the laws in your area.Strains id recommend for a first timer. Either go autoflower or feminised seeds, regular will produce male plants & they will be harder for a noob to spotAK47AK48Northern LightsEasy KushLemon kushskunkCheck out a website called - rollitup & another called groweedeasy. How long does a squash plant take to produce after it flowers?

When the flower starts to dry up the squash will start growing, depending on how much you water usually 5-10 days

How long does it take marijuana plants to start to flower after planting seeds?

The flowering stage can range from 5–16 weeks or even more. This is when plants start making buds. The length of the flowering stage depends heavily on the strain/genetics, with an average of about 8-12 weeks for most strains. Some strains are bred to have very short flowering stages (for example, most auto-flowering strains will naturally start flowering at around 3 weeks old and some are ready to harvest just 5 weeks later, for a total of only 8 weeks from seed!). Other strains can take months in the flowering stage before they're ready to harvest. Typically, longer-flowering strains produce higher yields than short-flowering ones because the buds are exposed to more light-hours and have more time to fatten up, but that's not always the case.

My baby bok choy has sprouted little yellow flowers. Is it safe to eat?

The flowers are edible. The flowers probably just bloomed and should be ok. If it was still growing and the flowering stem was spindly then it is probably going to be very fibrous and tough unless it is a special variety.Once bok choy and related asian greens growing a flowering stem it is time to harvest it before it get too far along as the plant gets tough and is no longer tender. A blooming bok choy plant is useless unless u are growing it for the eventual seeds. If you were to do that it would probably be better to cut it down and leave like an inch of the plant. Then put in water and wait for it to root before planting. If you want to plant it to grow more bok choy to harvest from that plant forget it, you need to start with seeds or a bok choy which is not in flowering mode. A prematurely blooming bok choy is the scourge of all growers.
