Have you considered using the following techniques to get more survey takers -List Survey - a list survey is free and is a easy plug and go survey type. Once you are done programming your survey, you can easily share a link and boom - survey respondents! Luckily, social media is amazing as a resource to find survey takers. Depending on what type of survey you are running there are groups available on social media sites that might help you. For instance, if you are running survey for a college class, sometimes the best resource is your college’s Facebook group. More than likely someone else has had to do the same thing and are eager to help.Social media is also a wonderful resource because of the connections your friends may have with others. So maybe you feel uncomfortable asking them to take the survey but sometimes it��s more comfortable to ask them just to share the survey if they are unable to take it themselves. I honestly do fill surveys. Probably more often than I should and I am also the type that reveals my identity if they wish to reach out to me later. Why do I do this? I do it because complaining about things is useless! Surveys provide very valuable information to improve or understand a situation. That being said anonymity in a survey should be contextual. In a corporate environment many surveys need to anonymous as to give employees the courage to provide negative feedback. In some situations it is important to understand the background of the person to really understand their feedback. This may require only partial anonymity (identify yourself with a team or location, etc)The problem with anonymity is that in certain situations it encourages lack of ownership and accountability for things stated. If an individual honestly believes in something they should stand uo for it…this. Would be the ideal, but there are people that scared for various reasons and priorities. Just because they may be cowards does not mean their opinions are not valid.Thus we need to have surveys that suit all situations.
