Okay, I have a lot of choices to make. I want the best for my team butI play favorites. I want your opinions. I have a Haunter, Gyrados, Kadabra, Typhlosion, Eevee, Dragonite, Snorlax, and Suicune. Those are my most leveled up pokemon. Can you guys help me through the infamous debate between haunter and kadabra and suggest who i should commit to for a team? My favorites are Dragonite, Typhlosion, and Snorlax. I'm torn between haunter and kadabra. Thanks in advance!

So on my Pearl, I have my boxes filled with Pokemon based by types per box, with different Pokemon on each of them. Are there any other Pokémon fans out here? Do you guys play Pokémon Showdown?
I used to. A lot actually. I am VM. on Pokemon Showdown.I used to be a very competitive player around the time when B2W2 had released. In another server called Pokemon Online, I was consistently among the top 10 players in the Uber Tier for almost two years. I was also at the first position for three months during this period.As XY was released and Mega Evolution came along, I moved to the Anything Goes Tier. I was the top player in that section for around six months before I had to back from the competitive play.I reduced playing slowly as studies caught up. I had a mission to achieve and that took my time. So I had to slowly abandon playing.Now I have finished my studies and I am gainfully employed. I also get some free time. I guess I should start again. It may be fun to show the new kids how we used to whack everyone around.I have only stopped playing. I still follow the news, read Fanfiction and watch episodes and movies of Pokemon. I am certainly one of, if not the biggest fan of Pokemon in India.Edit:- I've restarted playing competitive today. I'm on the Gen 7 Random Battle Tier on Pokemon Showdown and I've started off again with three straight wins. The new Pokemon and rules are a bit different but I hope to maintain that track record.
Which team should I join on Pokémon GO?
It really depends on what you want to do with Pokemon GO. If you want to always be on top, choose Team Mystic. Odds are, wherever you are Team Mystic has the most gyms. Of course, that means you can add your Pokemon to the gyms to get more coins (10 a day per Pokemon). The downside is you can’t really conquer as many gyms and it doesn’t really serve a challenge to “win”. Team Mystic likes to trust in a trainer’s strategy than their own Pokemon. If you want to go with its philosophy of wisdom, Team Mystic is for you!Next up in the list, we have Team Valor (my team). Team Valor is second in popularity (with Mystic in first and Instinct in third/last) who likes to train their Pokemon and trust in them rather than their own strategy. Team Valor is for people who want a semi-good chance at winning while still having a challenge. More Team Valor seem to be sticking with Pokemon GO rather than abandoning it like a lot of people have. If you like a battle strategy full of fire and passion, go with Team Valor.(these guys really sound like Colress sometimes with the whole “true strength” thing)Last but certainly not least, we have Team Instinct. They revolve around something of a mixture between Mystic and Valor, depending on both the instincts of themselves and their Pokemon. At first, they were the most uncommon and “weak” team, but are very common around small town areas. They are possibly the most competitive Pokemon GO players, because they have to work hard in their small numbers.
