Song Name Help? I don't know the name of this song and it's driving me crazy!?
I have absolutely no clue what the name of this song is. All I know about it is that it sounds like it's from the 80's. There are a lot of drums in the background, maybe a little piano and the only lyric I can remember from it goes: "whooooooooooa whooooooa. whoooooooa whooooooa." The whoa part goes up and down in tone and is slow. It's killing me that I cannot remember this song. I'm pretty sure I've heard it in a movie before, maybe from a sappy/comedic love scene. I know it's not much to work with but if anyone can help thanks.

That should lead you in the right direction.If you vaguely remover the tune, go and ask your friends! It would be quite likely that they would have heard this song too and hum them the tune. What do you do when you hear a song but don't know the name?
I ponder over n over again…..7 out if 10 times I could guess the songs name….well m not a genius or superhuman but if u take notion of the lyrics n observe carefully….9/10 times the name is in the lyrics itself…..every song has a story,which the artist conveys through the song,music plays a part but it's d lyrics that portrays everything ….I try n summarize the entire song as if I were watching a movie….I hv been playing guitar for around 18 years or so,u still rem was in 6th grade when I first started learning guitar,from personal experience I feel there will be atleast 2 to 4 lines which are d most important words dat tries to describe the song best……..e.g; d first song I learnt to sing as a beginner was from my fav band Guns n roses ,extremely popular amongst us,youths, famous in those days when there were no dj's, mobile phones,internet,etc …..the songs name “,don't cry”….n it wasnt too difficult to guess I guess…the entire songs theme was connected with that line……. similarly others too but nowadays with d dj's on d mixers, turntables,the song names of today completely philisophical….haha
