What is it like to have your app featured on the App Store?
My app, called Citrus, was featured once on the German iOS AppStore. It was a very encouraging experience. since it was something that I built in high school with a friend. It made me feel like it would be possible to make good money on the AppStore someday.Our App Store page got around 50,000 views and 4,000 downloads for the week that it was up. Before that we were getting about 2–4 downloads a day. However, the app was free with no ads so we didn't make any money.The downloads very quickly tapered off after that week. Despite that, they did stay at about 10–20 downloads a day indefinitely so I guess it had a lasting impact. We did get a pretty big boost in keyword rankings from all of those downloads.I can see how getting featured in several different countries could be very very powerful. We didn't even have German language support, yet the reactions were fairly positive and our conversion rates were good. Some countries’ AppStores also get much more traffic than Germany’s.Overall it was a really inspiring experience and it has made me want to put a lot of effort into my next app.

Can't be done... but if you tell me the exact version of Mac OS, I will explain step-by-step how to replace that App Store with a fresh one that works. EDIT : Download this–> http://github.com/downloads/timdoug/unpk... Double-click the “unpkg-4.5.zip” to expand it. Result is a folder called “unpkg 4.5”. Inside is “unpkg.app”. Drag that to the “Applications” folder of the iMac’s internal drive. Download this–> http://support.apple.com/downloads/DL134... Double-click the “MacOSXUpd10.6.6.dmg” to mount it. A small window opens. Right-click “MacOSXUpd10.6.6.pkg” and choose to Open With unpkg.app After a few seconds, it shows “Done!” A folder called “MacOSXUpd10.6.6” is now at the same location as the DMG package. Inside is an Applications folder, and inside that is a fresh “App Store.app”. Drag that to the “Applications” folder of the iMac’s internal hard drive, agree to replace it and authenticate with your password. <0-0>
Iphone touchID for app store?
every time i try to set up my touchID for the app store it wont let me and it just says there was a problem setting up biometric authentication. i just dont want to type in my password every time i download an app. any help?

The app store won't let me download any apps?
My iPod isn't even 2 years old yet but it's the 3rd generation so it's a little older but the app store isn't working, like, it'll let me update apps but not download any. It's like trying to click a button on a picture.....it just won't do anything. It's really anoying too. Cuz I would like to buy a few apps but it won't let me. Is it just mine or does all of yours work too? Do you know what's wrong?
The App store won't let me download apps?
Hi. I recently updated my iPod touch 4g to iOS 6. I have recently tried to download a couple apps I had to delete to make room for the update, but the app store will not let me? Every time I try to download an app, it will load about 1/4 of the way and than quit and will not finish. I have tried numerous different apps, numerous times and they all refuse to finish the download. Than after about an hour of trying to download and failing, the store started force closing on me, sometimes three to four times in a row. I have tried rebooting my iPod, signing out of mi iTunes, and other things I found on the internet intended to help but NOTHING will work! I have never had this problem, only with the new update. Has anybody else had this problem? And if so, how did yu come across fixing it?
