Is counterpoint possible for Indian music?
well , i have looked up some stuff but i can't find any musicsheet website to download harmonized indian music pdf files to check them myself so i'm asking is there any theory book about harmony in the indian music ? i know the classical indian music is monophonic but some of the new pieces they compose are great and i wanna know how they do it. if there is nothing then i have to find it out myself via counterpoint using ragas and indian scales i'm also looking for some special indian music chord progressions can anyone help?
Where can I download the Official SAT Study Guide in pdf?
I live in a city with a very few book stores. I couldn't find any store where they sold The Official Sat Study Guide, the College Board's official SAT book(In fact they even don't know what SAT is). A few stores in our capital city(Kathmandu Nepal) sell this book but when I called them today they said they are out of stock right now and they can't sell any until they are in stock(which will take a few months). I have my exam in two months so I have to get that book sooner than the earliest. I would be glad if anybody could give me links where I can download this book.
How do you write a philosophy paper?
You need the first paragraph to explain exactly what arguments you will present in the paper. Your second paragraph should give us the order of the essay: How will you organize it? (These might be combined to some extent.) You need arguments. Explain them fully and give evidence. Thought experiments and analogies are helpful. Talk about how you know what you think you know. Consider why someone will disagree with you and explain why they would be wrong. I have written a logic book that also talks about how to write arguments and how to write philosophy papers. It gives examples and walks you through the thinking process. If you would like a copy as a PDF file, let me know. I have an MA in philosophy and got straight A's in graduate school.
