My boyfriend just loves dancing shows on TV and has booked dance lessons so we can do a really amazing dance routine at our wedding in 6 months, and put it on his YouTube channel. I can't dance to save my life, and I am terrified. What should I do?
There are some great answers here and I have only one thing to add to them: Make sure that you rehearse your dance in front of other people. Start with the people that you are most comfortable with and work up to people that you are less comfortable with. A lot of the time, the fear of dancing is not in whether you can do the steps or keep smiling or not look down at your feet. It’s a fear of failure in front of other people. You need to prove to yourself that you can do this dance successfully in front of others. That’s why stage plays have dress rehearsals. Work on reducing your fear of looking foolish in public and you will do just fine.Edit: You might remind your future hubby that the norm is for someone, father of the bride, best man, etc., to break in and dance with the bride. Make sure you don’t just practice a routine, practice maintaining that smile through several other partners. If you like, you can arrange that sequence in advance and you can arrange a signal to whoever is providing the music as to when to stop. But don’t assume that will end the requests for a dance. Deal with your beloved espoused and your instructor on this matter. But remember, you control the music.

Is a lap dance considered an intimate act?
I tend to be against strip clubs, especially for bachelor parties. However, I know that many women are cool with them. I want to know if anyone feels that a lap dance is sexual in any way.
