What song is playing in the background of the beach scene in "Poetic Justice"?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28wdhPw6QQ0&feature=fvwrel

the song starts at 0:18. i need to find this song, i really really like it. i can't find it anywhere, i looked at the original soundtrack and it's not on there. i also looked at the IMDB music page for this movie and it wasn't on there either. it can't just be a song that got no credit, i can't figure out if it was made specifically for this scene or not. but i can't seem to find it ANYWHERE. PLEASE help me find this song, someone!

OK somebody please identify the backing track in this video?

Most likely it's something that The Verge created in-house. (similar to the theme of On The Verge)

How can I identify instrumental background of a video?

Consider that royalty free loops tend to get used a lot, and therefore sound repetitive and ‘played out.’Using commercially produced music for your YT video without licensing it is a BIG NO NO…There are a great many of YouTubers, that for this reason, use original, if generic sounding music. If this is the case, it’s probably not elsewhere on the internet for you to find…Check the description area, they often give credit there:

How can I find the name of the background music/song in a YouTube video?

You could use an app like Shazam https://www.shazam.com/Jan www.DoodleVideosMadeForYou.com

Sora No Otoshimono Background music?

Well Ive seen this Anime and it was really good. The background music used in the Anime to me is really awesome and I got some of the tracks but what I dont have is the "scary" choir one when Gamma and Harpy appear at the end of Ep12.And another one is a very nice song that starts off with Violin playing. It plays while Ikaros is fighting Gamma and Harpy and Nymph is talking while this is happening.

It is really killing me as I cannot find it anywhere!

Please someone help :) thank you!

Can you help me identify this song?

Working on the answer. Fascinating to find that even people in the UK and Ireland are asking also, since 2003 when the TV movie came out.

Stanley Clarke, who ironically performs the theme to my karaoke shows when I host, wrote the score to this TV movie in 2003 but I cannot prove that he had any hand in writing the song we are looking for. His instrument of choice is primarily the bass guitar, with a strong jazz/fusion background.

Here are the lyrics, from the YouTube sample. Google didn't give a positive response. This may help, since the UK users couldn't hear this song playing as the TV announcer was talking over the top of the show:

As the wind goes through the valley
and the road is to the sea
oh my heart it feels much better
cause sweet love has come to me
as I walk o'er to the mountain
oh my mind just wants to dance
my heart it feels much better
'cause we have a second chance
As the wind goes through the valley
and the road is to the sea
oh my heart it feels much better
cause sweet love has come to me

EDIT: as of 2/12/2010 at 1300 PST, the question has been forwarded to Stanley Clarke and his management team, and also his publisher. If I have to, I will send you an Email on how this turns out.

Is there any app which can provide background music whenever I sing a song?

I would recommend you to download smule singing app. As this app would provide you background music as well as it would record your song. You will enjoy singing. Hope this helps.

What apps can identify a song based on my humming or singing a part of the song?

MidomiAds by GoogleMidomi is a neat well-designed website and a unique search engine that’s powered by your voice. Thevoice search takes up just a corner because Midomi also has a large community of music lovers behind it. Midomi’s ultimate goal is to build the most comprehensive database of searchable music, part of it with user contributions.ShazamShazam is a song identifier app (and also works like a tagging app) you can carry along in your smartphone. Shazam is supported on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Nokia, and Windows Phone 7. With Shazam you can simply hold your phone up to the song to identify the track, buy it, check out the videos, and share it with friends. Unlike Midomi however, you have to play the track for Shazam to identify it with a tag – humming won’t cut it.MusipediaMusipedia is a melody search engine. As the site explains (to search a tune) – probably of the three, Musipedia gives you the best search combo to find a song if you can’t place it by name. You can use the available online tools like the Flash or Java based piano; you can draw notes with your mouse; whistle a tune into the mic; search by tapping the rhythm with the keyboard; use the Parson’s code; or simply use old-fashioned text search. The collection of tunes, melodies, and musical themes is freely editable by anyone. The site welcomes contributions to build-up the database.Hope it was helpful :)
