Can You Lose Body Fat By Not Eating Very Much Food For A Week Or So

How much weight will I lose by not eating for a week?

I did this once, well I didn’t eat for 10 days. I made sure to keep pretty hydrated and probably excersised about 1–2 hours on average a day. I lost 5kg and I also lost my period. I didn’t notice any other physical changes although when I did start eating normally again (because I didn’t have an eating disorder but a more complicated psychological problem) I gained back all of the weight I lost in about a week, eating normally so about 2000 calories a day because of messing up my metabolism.I wouldn’t recommend doing this as after a few days I stopped feeling normal hunger and instead would get extremely painful cramps and pains in my stomach for around 15 minutes a couple of times a day. I got out of breathe from even walking, was very dizzy all of the time (honestly surprised I didn’t faint)They also wanted to send me into a hospital but luckily I started eating again so avoided being an inpatient. All in all you probably shouldn’t do this but if you do I lost about 5 kg but I don’t know if you would loose a similar amount or not

How long does it take to lose weight after not eating?

I can't tell you when you will start to loose weight but I can tell you that by not eating, your metabolism has slowed to a halt. Your body has gone into starvation mode and is hanging onto all the fat it can to survive. The longer you don't eat, the more your body will hang onto the fat and the more weight you will gain when you do start eating again. Best to starting eating now, in small portions so you don't do any permanent damage to your metabolism. When I was a teenager (I'm 48 now), I used to go days without eating, it was something a lot of us girls did back in the 70's. Well, now that I'm older, it seems harder to loose any weight and very easy to gain... Trust me, you don't want to do what you are doing to yourself.

Your body has stopped loosing weight because it has plateaued for awhile, that happens to a lot of people. You may not loose anything for another couple months, but as long as you eat healthy and take care of your self, it will start coming off again. Remember that staying healthy should be your goal and it will be a lot easier to go that long term and make your eating and exercise a lifestyle and not a diet.

Can you lose fat by not eating junk food?

If you didn't eat for two weeks how much would you lose?

Two weeks?

if you are overweight--> maybe 15?

average--> 8?

super skinny-->5

If you are overweight, you're accustomed to consuming a lot of food every day. So when you stop all of a sudden, then you will lose a lot. Your stomach has expanded with so much food that it will be so empty when you stop eating and it will start to shrink.

If you are average, it's the same concept but since you don't eat as much as an overweight person you won't lose as much because you are not accustomed to eating too much or too little.

If you are super skinny already, you probably wouldn't lose much. Your body is used to eating so little already, that when you start the two week process, your body would probably not notice a change.
