Can You Pay More If You Need An Id By A Certain Time

I am a nanny and need some advice on how to ask for a pay raise and more respect! Can you help? *Long post*!?

I admire your loyalty to that family. I am sure that you are a good person, however, you need to build up your courage and ask to meet with the person who normally makes all decisions, or even with both parents. Sit down with them privately (without kids) and tell them how much you love their kids and how much you enjoy working for them. I suggest that you emphasize your loyalty to their family all these yrs.
It is extremely hard to find a trustworthy person to take care of your kids nowadays. So, have confidence in yourself and know that you are valuable to that family. Then, tell them how you feel about your pay. If they are wise they will try to make you happy, but you must build up your courage and speak firmly. I hope that you get what you want and be happy, because people like you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness... Good luck!

A Medicare tax is no different from other taxes you have to pay such as Social Security and Medicaid. Medicare is a health insurance program for seniors and people with certain disabilities and is government-funded, meaning it is paid for through public taxes.Employees and employers are each responsible for a Medicare tax of 1.45 percent (for a total of 2.9 percent) on each person’s earnings. Higher income-earners must pay an additional 0.9 percent Medicare surtax.Medicare taxes and Social Security taxes make up the FICA (Federal Insurance Contributions Act) tax. Every worker in America is required by law to pay FICA taxes.Bear in mind that the taxes you pay for Medicare do not apply to Medicare Supplement Insurance. These are private health insurance plans that help pay certain out-of-pocket costs associated with Original Medicare such as deductibles, coinsurance and copayments. In order to qualify for premium-free Medicare Part A, you or your spouse must have paid FICA taxes for at least 10 years. So the reason you need to pay taxes into Medicare is not only so current seniors can receive health care, but so that you will one day be able to do the same.

What is the 1099 income limit for my son who worked part time for me?

He's not an independent contractor. He is an employee of your business so you must report this income on Form W-2, NOT on Form 1099. The rules on Forms 1099 are therefore irrelevant.

Edit: Sorry, but you're wrong. If your son works for you and does repetitive tasks at your direction he IS an employee even if he supplies his own tools. Mechanics typically provide their own tools but if they work for a single employer doing repairs as directed by the employer they are employees and NOT independent contractors.

If you wish to put the matter to rest, file Form SS-8 with the IRS and get a determination form the horse's mouth. Here's a link: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fss8.pdf In the vast majority of cases workers are improperly classified as ICs and the employer (you!) will pay dearly when the IRS hits you up for the payroll taxes that should have been paid all along. I've worked at 2 businesses that were padlocked by the IRS for exactly that reason; they couldn't immediately pay the payroll taxes owed and the IRS seized the busineess' assets for payment.

There are only 3 basic job descriptions where the worker works at a generally fixed location at the direction of the paying firm yet is an IC: Real Estate Agents, Broad Line Insurance Agents who represent mulitple carriers, and (oddly enough) Milk Delivery Drivers. Unless your son is one of the above, I'll bet dinner at Ruth's Chris or The Chop House that the IRS says he's an employee.

Is it illegal for telemarketers to call after a certain time?

Have you considered registering with the Do Not Call register?

That's one solution. Telemarketers are indeed a nuisance and I wish that our elected officials started getting those annoying calls at home so that they're realize how annoying those calls are for the rest of the citizenry, the taxpayers that pay their salaries.

I am under the impression that they can call from 8am to 8pm, if I am not mistaken; this applies to creditors (people you owe money to); most of those calls come from overseas, like India and Pakistan where most of the AMERICAN credit card companies that receive tax incentives and tax breaks from AMERICAN cities and states, that get AMERICAN protection and that want AMERICAN business and AMERICAN money but have decided to outsource jobs... instead of hiring AMERICANS!

Do as I used to do, I'd answer the telephone and as soon as they started out with their schpiel, I'd say, "Hold it a minute..." and I'd set the telephone down and leave it on the kitchen counter for a half hour... and then just hang it up! Can you imagine what was going on in the minds of the fool waiting for me to come back to the telephone? Then, I found out about the Do Not Call register.

IF you registered with the Do Not Call List, REPORT them! Get their telephone number OR name of the company they're calling for and report them! That's the only thing you can do. But, you can also inform them that you are on the Do Not Call List.... that might help resolve the situation (but report them if they persist). YES, it IS illegal if you're on the Do Not Call List and you can tell them that if they insist and persist, they are liable for legal action to be taken against them; be firm and, yes, it's OK to show you're annoy in whatever fashion you like... it's YOUR telephone and YOU pay for it and you ARE in YOUR OWN HOME!

Do I need to pay a debt if it will drop from my credit report in 2010?

Im sure NONE of these people have ever had a debt before...
Anyway, just because a credit bureau says it is scheduled to be dropped from your report, it might not be....they dont usually stay on top of those things...so I wouldnt COUNT on it, but it might happen.
I do know that if you go off and pay it now, it means you are validating the debt, saying its really yours, and it COULD stay on there even longer. The statute of limitations could start at the time you pay it off.
However, if you want to try, you could contact the collection agency where your debt is, and settle with them. They purchase a debt from whoever you didnt pay originally, for a fraction of what you owe. You owe $2000, they probably bought the debt from them for $200. Now they're working on you to pay the $2000, so they make $1800. A lot of times they'll SETTLE with you, talk to them and say you can make a lump sum one time payment of $1000...they'll take it, trust me. But before you pay them, tell them you'll only pay it if they'll report to the credit bureaus that the debt is in good standing. They just may take that deal, take your money, and they'll report to the bureaus that you are not in debt to them, and that you were never late on payments, etc. The bureaus will CORRECT the information, and make it so your report looks like you have paid on time, and boosting your score...of course, get EVERYTHING in writing before you pay them.
I would try that method, or if your credit score isnt hindering you, I'd just wait it out. Save a copy of your report where it says when its scheduled to drop off, and send them copies of it, if it doesnt happen.

First, there is a difference between "booking" a room and paying for a room. Did they actually have their credit card charged online or did they just reserve the room with their credit card?Next, any competent hotel is going to ask to see the credit card and photo ID, verify it is in your name, and swipe it to get the best rates for processing of the credit card.If your friends parents booked the room and are not there, then they will not "usually" check you in. Why? How does the hotel know whether the room was booked by some teenager who got their parents card out of their Dad's wallet or Mom's purse to go have some fun with their friends?Or, how would the hotel know if it was just a stolen credit card number? The answer is they don't and if the hotel is smart, they won't let you check in unless the person paying for the room has signed ahead of time a credit card authorization form, complete with their full mailing address, contact information, copies of the front and back of the credit card and a photo ID, with a signature on the form that matches the credit card stating it's ok for this individual to charge the room (and any damages) to their card. That way if something does happen, the parents can't deny the charges to their bank because the hotel has all the appropriate documentation to give to their credit card processor verifying the parents authorized the charges. So after all the reasons why a well run hotel will not let you check in, be smart, call the hotel, have them send a credit card authorization form to the people saying it's ok to charge their card for the entire room charges (and damages if any), have that faxed or emailed back to the hotel so it's all OK before you arrive. Be sure to call the hotel's front desk manager, or hotel general manager, prior to arrival to make sure they received it and that there will be no issues with you checking in.Then be a good guest and not cause any noise disturbances, or trash the room, treat the room like you would at your grandmothers, and be respectful that this is someone else's' property who they worked hard to have a nice quiet place for guests to stay and you then will be welcomed back.

Click here for Digital signatureDo you need to pay Income Tax and National Insurance? You can earn a certain amount of income each year, called your Personal Allowance, before you need to pay any Income Tax.In general, everyone gets the same Personal Allowance of £11,850 for the year 2018-19 (£12,500 2019-20)However, you might get less if your income is over £100,000 or if you owe tax from a previous tax year. You might also get a larger Personal Allowance if you have overpaid tax from a previous tax yeaHow much can you earn before you need to pay Income Tax?In the UK, the tax system is based on marginal tax rates. That means it’s worked out as a percentage of income you earn inside certain thresholds – you don’t pay the same amount of tax on everything you earn.As an employee:you pay 0% on incomes up to £11,850* (£12,500 for 2019-20)then you pay 20% on anything you earn between £11,851 and £46,350 (£12,501-£50,001 for 2019-20)you’ll pay 40% Income Tax on earnings between £46,351 to £150,000 (£50,001-£150,000 for 2019-20)if you earn £150,001 and over you pay 45% tax.

To make money directly from YouTube (Ads) you need views, not subscribers. However, most of your earnings will come not from YouTube (AdSense Ads), but from promoting your products or other people’s products (sponsorships). There are 2 popular websites - Famebit and Grapevinelogic. They allow you to interact with companies and other YouTubers, so basically you can collaborate with others or you can find sponsors. To do that, you need at least 5,000 subscribers for Famebit or 10,000 for Grapevinelogic. To be honest, I haven’t reached 5,000 subscribers yet, but I hope I will this year (I have an Automotive channel). To sum up…When you reach 10,000 subscribers, you can expect $100 - $300 per sponsorship, you can expect $100+ from YouTube Ads (it depends on the number of views, length, country, currency, etc.).It’s really hard to reach your first 100 and your first 1,000 subscribers. From there, things scale up pretty fast. I got my first 100, now I’m looking towards reaching 1,000, so definitely feel free to take a look at my channel, and if you are interested in Automotive stuff, feel free to subscribe.I hope I answered your question. Do I really need an "ID" card if I already have my license...?

First of all, I already have an ID card, as well as a Drivers License. However, one week ago I had my name changed (first name).

I was told to go to the DMV office so they could update my driver license with my new registered name. It costs $25 to fill out the application fee.
The thing is..I don't want to have to pay an *EXTRA $25 for them to update my ID card as well....I don't even use it.

Do I *REALLY Need update my name on my ID card?... I basically use my License any time its required for me to show identification.

This is such a popular question these days and luckily there are a ton of resources out there about mindfulness and being present. I have a couple of suggestions:Is there something in particular that is keeping you from “being present” (i.e. worries about everything else you have to do that day)? If you can become aware of the thoughts that keep you occupied, give yourself permission to have those thoughts and then move your mind back to the present moment. My first social work supervisor used to say “the mind is a carousel, sometimes it gets stuck, but we can move it if we try.”To help you be more present in a certain moment, try a grounding technique. A really basic one is: look around you and mentally identify 5 things you see; 5 things you feel; and 5 things you hear. This reconnects you to the present moment. To stay connected, keep grounding yourself. If you feel your mind wandering, feel the way your back feels against your chair, feel your feet on the floor, and reconnect yourself to the scene. You can practice eating mindfully and even doing chores mindfully. For example, when you’re eating, eat slowly and appreciate the different tastes, textures, etc. Like you’re savoring the food instead of just eating to survive. If you’re doing dishes, feel the water on your hands, smell the scent of the soap, etc.You can also practice by planning out activities that you do mindfully. For example, if you take a bath, really focus on the temperature of the water, the smells of the soap, etc. If you’re walking somewhere, listen for the sounds around you, really look at what’s around you, feel the temperature outside, etc. When you get home, write about what you experienced in a journal. Gradually you’ll get more and more used to paying attention to those details.Sorry, but: if you really want to be present in the moment, I’d say you generally would have to be disconnected from all forms of media.Hope that helps at least a little.
