Can You Place Photos In The Description Area

What is a hotel lobby....... description of it.......?

A hotel lobby is the place where you check into or out of a hotel. It's on the main floor, and usually it's a very open area with many seating places. The focus point of the hotel lobby is the registration desk, behind which a few employees stand. The person who plans to stay at the hotel approaches the desk to make payments, check in, get the keys to their hotel room, and eventually return here to check out and return the keys. The desk in the lobby also serves as an information desk -- the employees will do their best to help you enjoy your stay, answering any of your questions.

Here's a picture of one that I found on google: http://www.panamacanalcountry.com/amador/images/Hotel%20Lobby,%20Amador%20Panama%20Canal.jpg

What is the effect of adding hashtags in the description or tags of a Flickr photo?

Hashtags are created by people that are used to tagging things on Twitter with a pound sign in front. They don't make it any easier to find by searching on Flickr. In fact, they risk turning the tag SomeTag into a second tag of #SomeTag, thus forcing people to search two different tags to find all of the photos.Fortunately Flickr is smart enough to bundle the two (with or without the hash) into the same search results. But just last month, Flickr added support for placing hashtags in the title or description of the photo. This will also add a tag to the photo and also allow app users click on that hashtag in the description and get search results showing other photos with that tag. But it is unlikely the photos you have been seeing were all intended to make use of this very new feature.Flickr Adds Hashtags to iOS App

Is  placing an URL in the description area of flickr photos or Photo Sets against Flickr Terms of Service?

Depends on the URL.But no, just placing a bare link url is not, by itself, against their policies. Where the link goes to may violate their policies, however. If these are photos from an event and the url goes to the event details, you are doing just fine.If it goes to a website to sell that photo, that is a violation of the ToS.

How do you insert pictures into you item description on EBay?

When selling your item you will come across something it says "bring your item to life" click on that and insert photos by browsing through your photos on your documents. Make sure photos are clear and can be scene. Or better yet get them off the google if its a game or somethign else.

Why can't my Facebook fans tag themselves in my page's photo albums?

1.) According to Carolyn Ellis: "Solution: To tag friends and people in Facebook fanpage posts, photos and post descriptions:Go to the photo or post on your fanpage timeline that you are wishing to tag people in. Make sure you are on the page as your personal page, NOT the fanpage ( to go onto your fanpage as your personal page, type the name of your fanpage in search while using your personal account).LEFT click on the photo or post on the timeline wall (don't right click to enlarge). Select Open link in new window. Then you can tag people in the photo and also in the post description in that new window."Done.2.) So, in plain English, this would be:"Facebook tagging links a person, page, or place to something you post, like a status update, photo or app activity. Tagging is a useful feature because it:Notifies a friend or Page when you post something that pertains to them, letting them know that they were mentioned;Makes the post more visible because it appears in the news feed and timeline of the friend or page you tagged (if the person has set the post to be visible to friends or public). [In other words], when a friend or page is notified that they have been tagged, it increases engagement because they are more likely to comment on or like the activity in which they have been tagged. Without tagging, you could post a nice comment but your friend or the Page owners may never know they were mentioned. However, since your entire post including associated comments is automatically posted onto the wall of whichever friend/Page is tagged, there is an unspoken etiquette of Facebook Tagging that you need to understand." - Posted on Facebook on Apr. 29, 2012Source: Facebook Tagging - How it Works for Timelines and Pages

What are those really long pictures called that show a large strand of an area?

If there are many images "stitched" together to make that panoramic view, some people call them exactly that - "stitched" images.

This guy (my brother) does a decent job with this technique, especially considering that he's using an "obsolete" hundred dollar camera to do it.

You will see a number in the description of each image and that's how many individual images were stitched together to make the final image. Many are made of 6 or 8 originals.
