Can PS2 games work on an Xbox 360?
No you can't xbox 360 has a completely different system architecture to PS2 Its a bit like saying can I play a VHS tape on a dvd player but not quite as silly.A PS2 disc is complete gibberish to a 360, even if it could somehow create a virtual version (emulator) of the ps2 in software that could read the disc.It wouldn't have the cpu/gpu power to run a game in the virtual Ps2 (modern PCs can)The Xbox One could probably do it horsepower wise with a emulator but Sony would hit the roof if Microsoft started running playstation games on XBOX One and microsoft would dragged into court and sued to bits.Microsoft is never gonna be that stupid.It will never happen ever not on a xbox 360 probably never on a xbox one without some weird custom firmware that MS would hate.

Risk… not so much in the technical sense.Searching for emulation software does usually mean passing through some sites that tend to be a freaking virus minefield. Some aren’t bad, and Adblock will get you through the worst of it without much trouble; just be careful what you click on.As far as making it work… that gets tricky.In a PC, you have things that are shared over multiple programs. Direct Link Libraries, redistributable packages, and the like are sets of commands or calculations that are frequently used by multiple programs. Installing the library once allows the games to all run smoothly and cleanly on one system with minimal fuss as to installing all the “generic code”.The PS2 doesnt exactly have that as much. It has some, but with emulation you start running into games that use various different components of the PS2 code structure to operate, and those are proprietary. Different processing algorithms, display drivers, sound drivers… it can be a mess, so not every emu is going to be able to run every PS2 game cleanly. The last time I was mucking around with that, there were a lot of driver packs available to test around between, but they were not all terribly accurate yet. That may have changed more by now, though.

the two best developed are psemu2 and pcsx2. They are both successors to good ps1 emulators. However they are not done. Last time I checked, they were not even close to beta stage. You can maybe view some cutscenes in games. They can't play a full ps2 game yet. You also have to get the ps2 bios to make them work, and that's tricky. The only way to do that legally is to copy it from your own ps2. google "pcsx2" and "psemu2" to find a site that will tell you about how to do that. PS2 emus are currently a waste of time for anyone who expects a fully functional, playable emu. It may be worthwhile if you're a hacker type who likes to look at dev stuff for fun

Well, first of all, you'll need to buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. You'll need to allocate the controls of the 360 Controller onto the controls available to the PS2 Emulator. That's really all there is to it. Just set it all up that way, and connect your controller.

Yes. It is. But you wouldn't want to do it.Most emulators (at least the ones I've come across) are rather primitive. So even if you do download them, be prepared for an uneven glitchy experience. PCSX2 automatically can use any and all devices plugged into your PC if I am correct, problem is…that you need to set up what buttons it will use.I got an Xbox 360 controller so I have it set up to use that but for a keyboard you’ll have to figure out a control scheme, go into controls and assign a key for each button.I use WASD for the left stick, the arrow keys for the D-pad, space for X, M for square, O for circle, backspace for square, Q for L1, R for R1, 1 for L2, 4 for R2, E for L3, shift for select and enter for start.I got PCSX2 to play Dragon Quest 8 in a higher resolution (I’m glad I did) so my logic was square was map, space was select, O was open inventory and backspace is obvious.The rest is also fairly obvious except for E which is for when I play Batman Begins as that game makes good use of L3 for crouching. this control scheme works pretty nicely for every game I’ve played I have found, you have to enable the mouse to use that though, if you do then have the flicks (So moving the mouse) act as the right control stick which is typically for the camera.If you are saying that you cannot get the keyboard to work at all then comment below and I will setup a way to resolve your problem personally.
