Do monthly premium in life insurance increases due to changes in health?

There are good reasons to buy life insurance when healthy, as it provides a future certainty for a lower price. Term insurance can be bought in fairly large amounts and converted, all or in part, to permanent coverage with a signature request, no health questions. Pretty great security. So, a person who has a term policy and is diagnosed with, say, Parkinson’s, diabetes, cancer, etc, can still have life long insurance if the term is converted all or in part to permanent insurance. Higher cost for permanent insurance, to be sure, but the family will be taken care of.As was already stated, once the policy is in force, any rate increases would have to be part of the policy structure for other reasons than health (like periodic increases for age on some types of policies) and the rules applied to all policyholders, except for when applying to reinstate a lapsed policy, on the reinstatement application health questions are allowed. It is important to answer health and all other questions truthfully when completing the application for life insurance, as the policy can be contested within the 1st 2 years (in most states, check yours) and claims will be investigated during the contestable period. The policy can be voided for fraud even after the 2 year contestable period.I am not sure what you mean by applying to beneficiaries. If you mean, does their health influence the price on the insured person, the answer to that is no.

Is herbalife good for you?

NO. It is "make believe food." Make believe food will give you make believe health, it's that simple. Look at the ingredients. They use lots of vegetable oils and soy. Those two things alone are really bad for you. The vegetable oils are very unstable and cause lots of inflammation in the body and the soy slows your thyroid down and that is not good for losing weight.

The whole program is designed to put your body into a starvation mode because the food is very empty in terms of nutritional value. They use foods that will cause you to lose weight due to starvation, but then when you go off the diet, you gain it right back. That's good for them because they are in the business of dieting, not health, not stabilizing your weight. They do not make any money from people that are healthy and manage their weight well.

If you want to start learning to manage your weight, I suggest you buy the book called, "Life Without Bread" by Christian Allan, Ph.D. This book is good science and will help you greatly.

good luck to you

Why should I make the effort to lose weight?

A body mass index of 40 is on the upper end of obesity. Being obese, on its own is not a problem. You could probably die tomorrow, and weight will be the least of your problems then. You have not given your gender, which would  have helped a lot. You also have not given your age.Being morbidly obese comes with many problems:1. You are a candidate for Diabetes Mellitus (Type 2)2. You have a high risk of heart attack as a result of dyslipidaemia as well as hypercholesterolaemia.3. Surgical intervention is challenging in your case, should you ever need. The anaesthesia will be a challenge too.4. You are also at risk for stroke, as you will most likely suffer from High Blood pressure. High Blood pressure predisposes you to a litany of  many other chronic medical conditions.5. Your immune system is compromised if you are morbidly obese. One visit to an Intensive Care Unit, for something as minor, as a pneumonia can kill you.Reducing your weight will delay onset of some of the problems highlighted above.
