What shade concealer should I buy if my foundation shade in Rimmel is SPF 18?
I think you're a little confused about the shade name. Is it this product?Notice on the bottom, in white writing above the weight it shows the shade name a three digit number and the actual name.It should say 050 light porcelain, 100 Ivory, 101 Classic Ivory, 102 Light Nude, 103 True Ivory, 200 soft Beige, 201 Classic Beige, 303 True nude, 400 Natural Beige, 402 Bronze, 503 Mocha, 504 Deep Mocha.The SPF 18 is on all the bottles, it's the amount of sunscreen or the Sun protection factor. Although, they changed the formula and it now has SPF 20Knowing your actual shade may be easier to find the right concealer. I prefer a shade that is as close to the skintone as possible, I feel it is more important but you can also get a shade lighter for highlighting but a matching one is more important

How do you find the correct shade for primer, foundation and concealer?

MAC concealer shade: lighter, or same as foundation?
I am going to buy two concealers: MAC Studio Finish (to cover blemishes and redness) and MAC Select Moisturecover (for under the eye). My current skin colour is NW20 but I have read and heard so many contradictions about whether a concealer shade should be a shade lighter than my foundation or exactly the same. As I am going to use the Studio Finish on top of my foundation I will most probably buy it in the same shade as my foundation, but should I go to an NW15 for the under eye area? It's just that NW15 looks a lot paler than NW20 and I don't want it to be obvious that it is there. Logic is saying that I should buy the same as my foundation. Has anyone any experience with MAC concealers got any advice? Or anyone really... :P Thanks!

Should i use the same brand of makeup for concealer, foundation, and tinted moisturizer?
I know you don't use foundation and tinted moisturizer at the same time. I use tinted moisturizer for everyday and foundation for going out but my question still applies to both of them.
How to choose a foundation color or concealer color?
When choosing a foundation there are a few principals you have to follow. Number one you have to have a primer. I don't care how expensive the makeup is. No foundation no concealer, powder or liquid will set well without first applying a primer. The primer takes away the necessity of having to add thick layers making your face feel cakey and appearing fake. The primer also enhances your natural glow. Now for choosing the right foundation color you have to remember your skin tone changes with season and sun exposure. With this in mind I pick a concealer that is a little darker than my skin tone. Then with the powder foundation I pick a color that is also in that ballpark of darkness. I use one more powder that is just one shade lighter than the other. I use the concealer set it with that darker powder and then accent my cheekbones maybe a little bit on my nose with the lighter powder. Last but not least I take my big old brush and blend blend everything together until there is no visible line and everything appears natural. The secret is blending and using a primer. Keep all layers extremely light (as far as layers not color) and you will have a very natural look. Change your colors every three months along with your brushes to avoid germs and getting some sort of infection. As far as your question regarding affordability. What are your tips for finding the perfect concealer or foundation shade?
Most people think that trying foundations or concealers on theirwrists or face would give then the perfect shade, but it is wrong. There are two basic things to follow:-Try the shade on you neck since you arm or face has discoloration and can get tan sometime.If not , then when trying on face /cheeck try multiple shades side by side i.e yellow undertone, pink undertone or neutral, you will instantly get an idea.These two things always help me.
