Can You Rejailbreak A Ipod Touch

Can you jailbreak your iPod Touch twice?

You can try downgrading your iPod touch to firmware 3.0

You can download the firmware here:
http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

To put your iPod Touch to DFU mode:

1. Shut down your iPod
2. Open up your iPod by pressing and holding BOTH the Home button and the sleep/wake button
3. When the apple logo shows up, release the sleep/wake button but continue to hold the Home button.
4. The iPod touch should only have a white screen. It is in DFU mode.

Once in DFU mode, plug it in but do not let it restore itself. Double click the iPod Touch 3.0 firmware you have downloaded. It should then revert back to firmware 3.0

See if that helps the glitching.

How can I jailbreak my iPod?

If you are on 4.1 and have never backed up your blobs, you will never be able to use JailbreakMe.com, simply because Apple has put protection in place to keep you from upgrading to a vulnerable firmware version. Updating your iPod with iTunes will bring it to 4.3.5 or iOS 5. These versions require use of a desktop computer application. You may use the desktop application developed by @geohot called limera1n to jailbreak 4.1. For 4.2.1 you may use greenpois0n. For 4.3.1 you may use redsn0w. For 4.3.3, you may use JailbreakMe.com. For 4.3.4 through 4.3.5 as well as 5.0, you may only use PwnageTool or redsn0w, but your jailbreak will be tethered, meaning you will need to connect it to a computer and rejailbreak every time your iPod is turned off and back on, hard crashes, or reboots. If I were you, I'd update it to 5.0 at your next opportunity and simply wait for the inevitable 5.0 untethered jailbreak to be released. My reasoning is that with the new iCloud integration, 5.0 will back up your setting to the cloud, so you won't need a computer to restore your data if things go wrong. You can probably make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store and have them update it for you. You will notice substantial speed increases and be able to enjoy a variety of new features without jailbreaking that were previously only available to jailbreak users.

How can I jailbreak an iPod without a computer?

Google it. Search the model name of your device, followed by your iOS version, and the words “jailbreak no pc.”Do note that 9.2–9.3.3 are the only modern versions that can be jailbroken without a computer, and the support for that method is spotty. It’s also possible on some WAY lower firmwares (below iOS 5), but it’s doubtful that you’re that far behind. Also note that the iPod 6th gen is the only one iPod that can be jailbroken on 9.2+. iPod 5 is 32-bit and won’t work.

How to redo a jailbreak?

Hello, I currently have a jailbroken itouch 2nd gen (4.0) that has become unbelievably slow. I want to redo my jailbreak. Can I simply rejailbreak it while it's still jailbroken? Can I jailbreak ios 9.3.2?

Yes of course I'll give you the steps right now!Step 1: Connect your iOS device to your Windows PC or Windows virtual machine, and ensure that it is recognized by iTunes. If you don’t have iTunes installed, install it. If you get a pop-up asking you to Trust your computer, tap Trust.Step 2: Turn off Find My iPhone on your iOS device. To do so, go to Settings → iCloud and disable Find My iPhone.Step 3: Download the installer from Pangu’s website. Keep in mind that this installer is only available in Chinese right now.Step 4: Run the pphelper installer to install the PP 5.0 tool. Click the button that appears to proceed with installation. Once the installation finishes, click the next button that appears to launch the PP 5.0 tool.Step 5: On the PP 5.0 tool, click the green button to download the necessary components for the jailbreak.Step 6: If prompted for an Apple ID, enter a dummy Apple ID account. This account is used for signing the jailbreak app that’s deployed to your device. I don’t recommend using your primary Apple ID with all of your personal data attached to it. Once you’ve entered the Apple ID, click the green button below the sign-in boxes and wait for the app to deploy to your iOS device. Once the process complete, click the green button to proceed.Step 7: Tap the email address on the Device Management page that appears on your iOS device. Tap Trust → Trust to finish the deployment.Step 8: Go back to the Home screen, and launch the jailbreak tool.Step 9: Enable Notifications, and uncheck the box below the circle.Step 10: Tap the circle, lock your device, and wait for your iOS device to respring.Step 11: Unlock your device, and you should now see Cydia on your Home screen.Note, that this jailbreak is a “semi-tethered” jailbreak, so if you reboot, you’ll need to repeat steps 10 and 11 before you can use any jailbreak-related app or tweak, including Cydia.Watch this video for a better understanding.Video Source: YouTube Channel 9to5Mac.Feel free to upvote if this helped you out!
