How come newegg.com can sell stuff cheaply.?
You must be comparing them to Best Buy and WalMart, no? These two companies mark up electronics way past MSRP. They're horrible Fry's electronics now pricematches newegg. I used newegg prices to get Fry's to come down on a SSD that i bought last month. Newegg doesn't really sell for that cheap, they keep it to MSRP. everyone else likes to jack up the prices on stuff. If it's a hot item that sells out fast, Newegg will tack on an extra $20. I've also seen newegg sell stuff for over MSRP but then add a coupon code to get the item down to MSRP. Newegg has done some shady sh1t. I;ve heard of people complain about newegg sending then items that have been opened. I've personally spent at least $6k at newegg within the last 2 years and I've never received anything that's been opened. Wy do you ask? Instead of overclocking the old Pentium D processor, you could buy a Core i5-2500K, P67 or Z68 motherboard, and 4gb of DDR3-1600 Ram and go to town. I think the biggest reason they sell so cheaply is because they buy in massive bulk, just like Costco does. While they don't have door greeters, they do have to employ a lot of people to process RMA's, Pack the orders, maintain the site, and make sure the credit card orders go through.
Is Newegg’s return policy on CPUs only 1 week? I heard this somewhere but not sure if it's true.
I'm not sure neweggs exact policy but I remember once my boyfriend wanted to return something to newegg that was months old. The newegg employee who answered customer support saying there was no way he could return it after it's been so long. Then the employee looked at my boyfriend’s purchase history. My boyfriend at the time was fixing computers so he had purchased over $10,000 in parts from newegg. Once they saw that they let him return anything he wanted no problem. So you might not be purchasing that much stuff but my point is the ability to argue it is there!

Does newegg.com pay for return shipping cost (replacement) if product is defective?
No, they don't pay return shipping, even if the product is defective. I also believe that most of the "defective" stuff returned to them is NOT defective, but, instead, people don't like what they bought, or they don't have the technical skills to install it, etc. Very, very few electronic things are D.O.A. from the factory.
Do I get a full refund if I return a motherboard to Newegg unopened?
You have to return the entire combo... sadly You can return the individual item but the discount will be deducted. You will not get the full amount. Newegg also charges a restocking fee on unwanted items. The only way around the restock fee is if the item is defective. when you deduct the restocking fee, shipping, and the combo discount... then what's left? I've seen plenty of people selling unwanted newegg items on craigslist in a effort to avoid restocking fees.
Is Newegg a reliable website?
New Egg is fantastic. You always receive the item as described, promptly and in great condition. They also stand behind their products and have great customer service. I once ordered a slate from them that arrived with a cracked screen, they payed for the return shipping and overnighted me a brand new one. I've been shopping with them for years, and never had an issue.
Forgot to include some screws with Newegg RMA?
Newegg is very nice with that kind of stuff. They most likely will not return your RMA and if they did find it they would notify you and you can choose to either send in the entire package or deduct the price of the screws from your refund. Don't stress about it I have RMAed many things with newegg and they have been quite layed back about that kind of thing.

The price listed on Newegg is somewhere close to the MRP of the product set by the company the who made the productYou only pay a little extra for shipping and import duty. The priority delivery option helps to get the product hassle free.It's my prime choice when buying new and latest computer related hardware, as when compared to sellers in India who list amazingly stupid prices on sites like Amazon, for example, I went to a DDR4 Ram of 16GB which was priced at 7k + 1.8k (9k approx) the same product was also available at Amazon, and all the sellers listed it above 17k.So it was evident that I bought it from Newegg. Would you buy your camera from B&H Photo or Newegg?
I've bought thousands of dollars of Computer equipment from Newegg, but never a Camera. Right now, B&H Photo and Newegg have the camera I want for the same exact price, and both with free shipping. It's the Canon sd880 IS. Which place should I buy it from? I know B&H is reputable as far as cameras go, but I don't know anything about their return policy (I also don't know anything about their shipping). I love Newegg's return policy, and fast shipping.
Is it risky buying an open box computer at Newegg?
You don't know, they're all lumped together. There might have been a problem with the item, or it might have simply been the wrong item ordered, maybe it didn't fit their computer case or they ordered something higher-end instead, etc.
