I’m a teenager, is it okay to run down the street in my underwear?

No matter what your age, it is not OK to to run down the street in your underwear! Why would you want to do that anyway? Someone might catch a glimpse of you out of the corner of their eye, be distracted and hit something or someone. Someone will surely take a video of you and post it on social media, and then it will get to the news. And you would most likely be arrested for indecent exposure. Why would you want to do that to your parents? I get that you’re a kid and you want to have fun, but that is not the way to do it.

How do you run away from a street fight? What are the implications of being caught by the police?

Not fighting and running from a street fight is wise and the police will never bother you. Never fight for your ego. That brings on nothing but trouble. If your are in a fight and turn and run when the police show up, you might be in serious trouble. You have left your opponent as the sole source to give the police report. It will be your fault no matter what actually happened. They will say you attacked first. You also look guilty. If you are defending someone else, then you really do need to stay. By running the police will be looking for you because you were a participant and a witness. No matter what the incident, make sure you get your story to the police. Tell the truth and don't embellish anything. You may end up testifying in court. The truth is the only thing you will accurately remember. Also, ask how you can obtain a copy of the police report for you records. See if the report is accurate. Call and make any corrections that need to be made. Write this contact information on the report with the name of the person you talked with and the date and time. Any further contact with enforcement personnel, should be write it down.At first chance, write down everything you can remember about the incident. This will serve as a reference for you later.Make sure you video or photograph the area, preferably at the time of the incident. Take a 360 degree record of the area. This will help your memory and record anything that might be important. Should you need legal counsel, these things may be extremely important.Seiyo Shorin-ryu Karate & Kobudo - Leach HanshiRon Leach Karate | Facebook

Is it possible to run down a wall?

We see all these free runners running up walls. What I'm wondering about is, is it possible to run down a wall? I mean, for example, you were falling down a building, can you run down the wall to reduce your momentum and possibly save your life? Its a stupid question, but please, no too physics-y answers... thanks!! =)

If you were walking down the street at night with a dead phone and heard a scream come from the alley. Would you go investigate or run in the opposite direction?

Me personally? As I am From an era that didn’t even HAVE cell phones, and to me are a recent invention? no change from HAVING a cell phone.I would yell super loud, and that is pretty loud, and ask what is up, (as I don’t want to intrude if the scream was from sexual joy, in an alley or wherever, as that is an uncontrolled utterance that can sound like terror), and if I hear a call for help, would proceed.I would yell (painfully loudly), “call 911” or whatever is appropriate in the local place, and investigate. But I am older, huge, and rather scary looking, at near 6 foot and 250Lb/110kg, and if I were younger, smaller or scareder, would run tother way to call for Police/sheriff, etc. Really about level of risk to my person, and that can vary.

If your child runs into the middle of the street because you were not supervising them, and they get hit, can you be held liable for the car damage?

Indeed, you can be liable both for the damage to the vehicle and for the child's injuries.  Generally we refer to this as negligent supervision.  This could apply to the caregiver for any person deemed to be incompetent, not just children.

If someone walking down the street sees a police officer and then turns and runs away, can the cop chase him down and check him out?

Not without a reasonable articulable suspicion that the person had committed or was in the process of committing an offense. If this happened, I would probably keep an eye on the person running, while having a second officer check the area for a potential victim. It is my experience that people who see the police and then just take off running are doing so for some reason, however, it's their right to walk, run or skip down the street unless we have a reasonable belief that they’ve done something wrong.Running absent any other factors indicating an offense was committed is not enough to stop the person. I would make a note of the date, time and a clothing and physical description of the person running and where they ran from and their direction of travel. It's not uncommon the following day to have a report that something in the area was stolen or broken into. Providing your detailed information on what you saw may assist the assigned detective in solving the case.I would also keep notes on what I called the wanderers. These are people who tend to just wander the streets at night. Many are up to no good. If I note what people are out on what streets it gives detectives a starting point when a person is robbed or an apartment burglarized in the same area.Police work is definitely a team sport.
