Can You Take Fish Oil Vitamin D Vitamin C And Multiple Vitamin All Together

Can I take fish oil, vitamin C, and B12 supplements together?

I take a handful of vitamins a day and have for years. These are mostly food supplements not drugs, so you’re not having drug interactions like you could with multiple prescription drugs.

Can i take multivitamins, fish oil and vitamin c together.?

i am 31 and my weight is 41kg. i take multivitamins cause i need to raise my appetite while fish oil and vitamin c for my skin purpose.. is there any side effects if i take these all together...

How can I take multivitamin capsules together with fish oil omega-3?

There is no contraindication to taking them together, at the same time. Both are important for different reasons. The multi-vitamin makes sure you are getting adequate micronutrients to fill any gaps that you may have in your dietary regimen. The fish oil is great for reducing inflammation, reducing triglycerides, and increasing HDL or good cholesterol while lowering LDL, bad cholesterol. There are certain medications that you can’t take a multivitamin or fish oil with (at the same time), for example levothyroxine, so check with your pharmacist or physician to see if you are on any of these meds that you have to take on any empty stomach. It is also recommended that you take a multivitamin with food, so I would recommend taking both of them either directly before or after a meal.

Can i take fish oil tablets and multi vitamins daily?

yes, you can have your vitamins daily.
The Omega3 pills you can have 3 but is going to depends on the kind of diet your having.
in my case i take 8g daily. My food is very high in cholesterol and Omega fats so i need it to make a balance.
The benefits of Omega3 are countless:
- cleans your cardiovascular system
- improve cholesterol by lowering triglycerides and elevating good cholesterol levels
- improve joint health
- improve mental health (People who are deficient in omega-3’s may suffer from depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and ADHD)
- skin and bowel health
- lung (reduce inflammation in deseases like asthma), menstrual health (reducing pain) help
- may prevent cancer, etc etc etc

check on D and E vitamins and essential minerals like selenium and magnesium.

im a body builder, i eat high in protein, fatty acids, cholesterol and Omega6 (lean cuts, chicken, seafood, etc...)
i keeps me running perfect (vitamins and fish oil)

Are these vitamins ok to take together?

You can safely take them all together every day.

Taking 2,000 IU of vitamin D every day is perhaps a bit much unless you are vitamin D deficient from insufficient Sun as that is where most people get their vitamin D from. Perhaps it would be better to take 400 IU of vitamin D per day as in fortified cod liver oil capsules that contain 400 IU of vitamin D and 4,000 IU of vitamin A. Eggs and dairy products contain a bit of vitamin D but you get a lot more via the Sun.

Is taking multiple supplements, such as vitamin D, fish oil, Yakult, and magnesium a good idea?

short answer, it dependsFor Vitamin D I suggest you start by getting a blood test. Sites that specialize in Vitamin D information seem to recommend that an optimal range is around 50ng per dL. If you are not at that level you could consider supplementing. I suggest trying to get “correct” sun exposure first. By that I mean during the right time of year, at the right time, wearing minimal clothing and timed appropriately for your skin tone. For fish oil you can also get an Omega 3 test (which would likely cover additional fatty acids). A good quality supplement would not be a bad choice here. I suggest one high in DHA. You could also adjust your diet by including fish (small fish like sardines preferably because of lower concentrations of contaminants such as mercury) or Omega 3 enriched eggs. There are also a few plant sources though you would likely need fairly large amounts because those need to be converted (internally) to DHA and EPA.For Magnesium I suggest adjusting your diet to include more Mg rich foods. This is because those are from plants and everyone should have a diet that is high in well chosen plant foods. Not saying that you have to be vegetarian or vegan but to exclude plant foods is a big mistake. Supplementing is OK but try to get as much from food as you can. Over time you will likely develop the habits of choosing good foods if you keep at it. It makes sense and the major stumbling blocks seem to be good recipes and time for preparation, both of which are easy to overcome.

OK to take vitamin D, iron, and fish oil and the same time?

Yes, those 3 are perfectly safe to take together with no listed interactions (assuming it's not too much of any given nutrient).
That being said, most toddlers should not take any Iron unless their pediatrician has said to because they are deficient. Good luck and I hope I helped!

[edit]: A couple of the other answers pointed out something that I neglected to specify... natural Vitamin D would be the best source whether it is from sunlight exposure (since your body produces Vitamin D when unfiltered sunlight hits your skin) or a supplement. If it's a supplement, make sure it's listed as being Vitamin D-3 (that's the animal source which would be best absorbed by the body), from Fish Liver Oil (the liver specifically since that's where fish have high contents of Vitamins A and D), or from Cholecalciferol (which is commonly from Lanolin, which is sheep's wool).
D-2 is vegetable source, but it isn't absorbed as well by the body as D-3.

Is it good to take vitamins, fish oil, and Biotin capsule at one time?

Biotin is one of the 13 vitamins humans require. Actually, Vitamin D is more properly a hormone, as our own body synthesizes its own. That might arguably trim the number down to 12. By ‘vitamins’ I suspect you mean a multivitamin pill, which may or may not include biotin.I see little harm in taking these three supplements together, except perhaps to your wallet, as they have no known benefit to human health when taken in pill form. With any reasonable diet you get all needed vitamins from your food; and fish oil is easily obtained from…oily fish. Salmon steaks, anyone?Bottom line: there’s no need to buy these pills in the first place.
