Why can't I access Yahoo email on my Android powered device anymore? I get the log-in failure every time. I can still access Yahoo mail on my desktop pc. This isn't just me. I see hundreds of others writing in on the forums with this same issue. Many claim that Yahoo is trying to get users to use their dedicated mail app. However, the reviews for it on the Google play store are HORRIBLE. So Yahoo, what have you done to the normal email client? Are you trying to drive away users, because if we cannot sed/receive email on our mobile devices, we can all just switch over to Google.
Should every branch of the military issue mobile devices to recruits?
No. I don't know what the point would be. Currently, at least in the Army, you can not get your .mil email on your phone. You just can't. You can't log in to the Army site (AKO) without using your CAC card (ID.) In order to set it up so that my husband could check email, fill out and send documents, etc., from home the following steps have to be taken.Buy a CAC reader and install it.Go through and exhaustive number of steps to install all the software and certificates needed to access AKO and be able to sign in with your CAC card.Do it a second time when it doesn't work.Log in to AKOClick on email icon.Enter PinAgree that everything can be monitored by the USGEnter Pin again.Pray that it works this time.Close all windows.Sign in and go through steps 4 - 7 again.Pray that it worksFinally get in to check email.Aside from the whole CAC reader issue, this is impossible to do on the phone. The military really doesn't want all the information that exists, and could be sent between individuals and units, to be easily able to be hacked or accessed by non-authorized individuals. It should also be noted that the program listed in the article only gives recruits tablets that contain training materials for boot camp. At graduation they are turned in and given to the next set of recruits. They aren't being given mobile phones, but that wasn't the question asked.

How do I view all my photos from emails with the new Yahoo Mail?
Unfortunately, the option is no longer available in the new version. I finally contacted a yahoo rep and was advised they removed this option....no good explanation given....The only way you can bring them up now is to find the email that contains the photo. This means you have to check your inbox....sent folder or any other place you may have saved them. You can also use MAIL SEARCH on your email page and enter something that relates to that email...IE: senders email address or subject matter ...to bring up that email. You can also enter PHOTOS and/or ATTACHMENTS in this search box, which brings up many, if not all, of your emails that has attachments/photos. I loved that option, but apparently Yahoo does not...=)) This is how to go back to Classic ... if you want to.. Dawn, If you used your mobile phone number as your account recovery method, it is your responsibility to change the information on the account when you change phone numbers or deactivate a device. Furthermore, if you are unable to prove account ownership by verifiying secret answers and questions in the password recovery flow, then it is unlikely that you will be able to recover the account.
