Cant Connect Samsung S2 To Pc

Samsung Galaxy S2 won't connect to wifi...?

The problem is network security!

Just knowing the password is a relatively easy option to bypass security, and being able access Wifi remotely undermines Wifi Security.

As soon as I write this it will become apparent.

So like Bluetooth you have to PAIR the SGS II to the router. ( thus another level os security, YOU have to be in the room
You have to in addition LEFT CLICK (OPTIONS) when you are in Settings / WIFI [WPS Wifi Protected Services]

Why can't my Samsung Galaxy S connect to my computer?

I know how to do it... and it's really strange because I've transferred files on my phone before. I have a 14g SD micro in my phone as well. I exchange photos, videos, movies, etc. It's really irritating for me to take out the micro and put it through an adapter. I would much rather plug my phone in through the USB and do it that way. What has been happening lately is that I plug my phone into USB. And I have no issues with the phone. Its my computer. Sometimes Remvoveable Disks F: and G: are greyed out. Other times, they are not. Either way, when I click on them, it takes foreverrrrr to load. And when its done, it doesn't do anything. Just continues to load. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

i've checked every website claiming to of solved the problem with the only two basic methods of fixing these the problem, the two methods:
1) go to wireless and networks

2nd Method:
Connect USB calbe to both PC and phone

should she "connect to mass storage"

Problem, again nothing happens, there is no Connect to mass store anywhere at the top of my phone

I've also tried:
swich USB cable to different USB ports
going to Control panel, going to device manager, USB ports secetion
going through the list looking for the one that says "not working properly, uninstalling
and reinstalling
updating the driver
sending the driver back to a date when it was working

Restarting my computer to see if that would sort out the problems

Should I Get A IPhone 4s Or Samsung Galaxy S2?

Since I'm in the same boat and actually just got the Galaxy S2 yesterday. I will tell you my experience.

The pros: The phone is amazing! It's got everything you would want. It takes a little bit of getting used to though, but it didn't take me too long.

The cons: If you've used Itunes for music before, you're in for a big hassel of getting all your music on to the new phone, trust me, I've stayed up until just now trying to find the best program to do it all. I thought I found it in isyncr, but there has been conflicts to connect the phone to my PC. Anyway, long story short, the program Kies is STUPID! It doesn't even work. I was lucky I got my contacts transferred over at Best Buy or else, that would be time consuming too.

Another con is if you've used IOS, I still feel that the text messaging and typing tool of the IOS is Wayyyyy better than anything Android although the "Talk to text" is a huge plus.

So coming from being an IPhone user, I never thought about the accessories that I would want to consider like getting a case, screen protector, and car charger (trust me, the battery life isn't as good as IPhone). Having all that already for IPhone, I realize how much money I could save on accessories. I'm considering ordering the IPhone 4S and taking this one back.

I hope I don't regret that decision, but I have a feeling the IPhone 4S is going to be way better than my initial thought at the announcement.

Anyway, hope that helps you. I'm leaning on IPhone 4S. And if I get that, at least I get a free headphone lol... The Galaxy S2 only came with the charger.

Good luck on your decision.

Galaxy S2 won't connect via USB?

My Samsung Galaxy SII (i9100) won't connect with my PC. When plugged into a USB, the phone charges, but windows says "cannot recognise USB device" or something like that.

I've tried it on multiple computers (both PC and macs), tried connect via Kies and via windows explorer, and no luck. I've also tried three different cables (all genuine Samsung+nokia) and still nothing. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kies, aswell as re-installing drivers for the phone.

It was working perfectly last time I needed to connect to the USB to copy over data, which was a month or two ago.

I don't know if related, but my phone also has this issue where it incessantly thinks I've just plugged in my charger, and this causes the battery to drain fast, not to mention the annoying beeps it makes. This battery issue has been a mild issue for the past year (it happened infrequently), but now it happens all the time. I am due to take the phone in for repair, hence why I am trying to backup my data.

Let me know if you have any solutions to get the computer to mount my phone, so I can copy over important data. Thanks :D
