Cant Get Delhi Out Of My Head

Why should or shouldn't Delhi be granted full statehood?

My opinion is "No". Delhi Shouldn't be getting Statehood . Below are some of the reasons. This is nothing to do with any particular party, but based on where Delhi is and its significance1) First of all, Delhi is India's capital. All the Central government's administrative powers vest with Delhi and it is really key that Delhi comes under HMO and PMO.2) Delhi hosts minimum 40-50 officials and head of states per month from other countries. The recent big visit was by Obama. So it is absolute key that Delhi Police comes under the Central government. Imagine a state government handling security of a US President. 3) There will be better accountability if the police report to the HMO, than a state government. 4) Delhi is not very big in size . It neither has any alternate source of revenue. Statehood means immediate withdrawal of Central government funds to Delhi. State government should look for additional revenue. It means people will be taxed more, just like the recent VAT hike. Also, consider the garbage carnage Delhi witnessed recently. It will be a regular scene.5) The recent successful transition from a UT to State was Goa. Its USP is tourism. Delhi has no such major attraction to generate steady revenue. With the increasing Socialist moves run by the government, Delhi will soon run into deficit.  Even if Delhi is granted statehood with all these constraints, it will take minimum 5-10 years to stabilize the financial position. For that you need major industrial growth. The current government will be doing fine to subsidize, and take pro people measures, but there has been no major Job creation vision. All these reasons are from a general point of view, and also considering the current ruling parties of Delhi and Central government. So, people should not get emotional and look at reality. Only major drawback of not granting statehood would be law and order problem. Considering the vast roles and responsibilities of HMO, monitoring Delhi police would be just one among other duties like monitoring Kashmir, North east, etc.  It will always be better if HMO and Delhi Government work together instead of blaming one another. We must understand that no one really wishes that law and order problems should happen. Unfortunately it happens in many parts of the country and also in developed countries. Instead of blame game, it's better to sit together and discuss a common proposal of maintaining law and order.

Hair transplant DHI Delhi Vs Richfeel Mumbai?

Greetings!

I am planning to go for a hair transplant this month.

Please advice between DHI Delhi(Dr Urvashi Chandra) or Richfeel Mumbai.

DHI is using their own patent technology while Richfeel is using FUE. I don't understand the difference.

Is this academic appeal letter good?

"I do not and will not blame anyone but myself. I deeply regret the mistakes that I have made and sincerely want to make amends for them."
I would leave this part out. It is kind of like when you get pulled over by the police, and you are supposed to act like you had no idea what you were doing wrong. Saying this makes you seem like you were a slack student who didnt try, and just wants a free break.Try harder to show yourself as a hard working student who just needs a second chance to hit the mark, not a student who was lazy this semester and wants another chance to not be lazy.

I had to apply for an appeal, and I turned in the short form (no letter) online, within literally a split second, an "Automatic Approval" letter came to my email address. Have you turned in the form already- could there be any chance that you dont need a letter, or have they already informed you that it is needed. I guess all colleges could be different. If you are on the Deans List, or have a very high GPA, there is a possibility that this could happen.

Why are the IAS officers applying to be transferred from Delhi?

There could be multiple reasons :-Not all the IAS officers are honest, in fact very few are honest. We need to consider this fact as they are the head of the executive vertical of government and a lot of power rests in their hands. Here comes the influence and money. So, they may be facing a huge cut in their unofficial salary. They never or rarely get such educated or intelligent heads. AK is not only a top class engineer but an IRS as well combine this with his experience at ground level as an activist. I bet it is not easy to give an excuse and get away for them.Lately, we have seen few IAS officers getting frequent transfers (Mr. Khemka) and few who sacrificed in the line of duty (Mr. Ravi). And there is this regular lot of government officers who try their best to get their desired location. My take here is, no system can shake the belief of an honest officer. You may find my answer biased but there is a strong reason I am inclined to think that way. Delhi Diary of Aam Aadmi Party..Has Delhi developed under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal?Has Kejriwal taken any anti-corruption issue to its logical end?So there can be only two reason why IAS officers(few) want transfers:-Either they are not ready to work under pressure.Or not getting the perks (unofficial).
