Care package ideas for friend in Chiang Mai, Thailand?
What type of Care package - are you talking equipment or medicines or clothing ? If clothing do not bother - send money as clothes cheaper here. If medicine - you will have to check with US and Thai authorities what you can and cannot send. If equipment check with your friend as it could cost more to buy and ship then buy from Bangkok. I admire your style to help your friend but the reality is you need to speak to your friend as they are on the ground and know what is needed - sending just money my be the best option
Is Thailand a good place for honeymoon?
Yes. Thailand is lovely place for Honeymoon.I had been there not for honeymoon but for my 1st marriage anniversary and yes its lovely place to visit and roam around with your partner.The places I would recommend you to travel is Krabi, Koh Samui, Phi Phi Island, Pattaya and Bangkok.………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Krabi, Koh Samui and Phi Phi island have lovely beaches and you will enjoy every moment over there spending wonderful time with your partner. You can go for long walk, enjoy the water and just enjoy all your time at beaches. All these three places have lovely walking street for shopping and food. You can enjoy swimming and snorkeling at the beaches.I would recommend to spend atleast 2 to 3 days at each place.………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Pattaya and Bangkok are more commercialized places compared to above three places. But they have their own flavor where other activities are added like Alcazar show, Visit to Coral island here you can enjoy parasailing, sea walk, and other water sports, Noong noong village. Bangkok is best for shopping and you can buy everything at dirt cheap price (make sure you bargain well) . People always have to buy extra bags here for their shopping ;)I would recommend to spend 2 days at each place.…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………So over all itinerary would be for 10 days as belowKrabi - 3 days, Koh Samui - 2 days, Phi Phi - 2 days, Pattaya - 2 days, Bangkok - 2 days.Average cost per day at hotel would be $50 per person so total $500Average food cost would be around $10 per person per day so total $100Travel and other activities cost could be taken as $400So overall budget for 10 days trip to Thailand could be $1000 + Flight charges extra…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Thailand is lovely places and people are welcoming too.
