Should I choose love or career?
Any thing you choose would leave you unsatisfied in the other field . I'll give you an example of my friends .One guy , he is kind of play boy , he has dated more than 10 women . Never been single after his first . He has good physique , good looking has a great job . He doesn't care much about growth, promotion . Kinda chilled but keeps lot of backlogs and dues at his work place . Doesn't know what is going on at his office . So , somewhere at the corner of his heart , he feels he is too careless , should work more . Give more time to his job than love , sex or a social life . But as he is soo much into fun , this feeling never goes away .Another guy , very successful , nerd , always into studies . Jumping from company to company buying cars and properties . He has most of his time invested in growth , financially . But he always had this feeling that he never had a girlfriend , din had sex , no romantic life .Then comes my story , I broke up with my ex . Dint persue higher studies , came back to home . Joined a regular job and spending quality time with my parents . I feel displeased about not doing well with love or career . But I'm enjoying time with parents .Summary : whatever you choose the other part of your life is going to get fucked up . So close your eyes , ask yourself what you want . Don't let other people dictate you how to live your life .P.S - if you end up inventing an algorithm to maintain all the parts of life perfectly . Kindly share with me .
WOULD you choose A CAREER FOR MONEY OR PASSION?
Why do everyone on yahoo answers always answer career questions for wanna be doctors and surgeons like " dont do it for the money ohh do what you love" THATS BULL... No one in their right mind would go though 12+ years of school and go into100k+ in debt for lets say 40k. I think someone can be a doctor for the money if they are good and good to patience.Honestly my passion is making money I would shovel horse $h!t in the hot sun with a smile on my face for 300k+. So honestly would you be a doctor if you" loved to help others" for 13/hr and you LOVED your job or do something else like a trashman or janitor for 350k. LETS SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE LIE.....
Life/career coaching vs. counseling?
Does it matter which one I choose career-wise if I just want to start my own private practice? Counselors probably get more clients since they can pay for it with health insurance. Therefore, more money. But it takes a Master's degree to become a counselor, so the extra money you would be making is helping to pay student loans, too. What do you think?
Which should I choose: my boyfriend or career?
I have been dating a guy for a few months now. He is the man of my dreams, the soulmate I have waited for all my life. We are both in our late 20's. However, this new job has come up with better pay and opportunity in a different city. My boyfriend has a great job where he is right now and he would have to start at the bottom again and does not want to do that. He has a demanding job as an EMT and long distance relationship would be impossible due to his schedule. I'm really torn right now - I feel that I would never be able to meet another guy like him ever again and would be screwed as I'm sure he is the one. Which would you choose - stay in city with current job and stay with boyfriend or move to another city with a different career without a good relationship?
Do you regret choosing love over career .... or career over love?
You can have both. I am an attorney and married to the only man I ever dated. I met him when I was in law school and I let him court me the old fashioned way. He was already a successful attorney. We got married after I graduated. I was a virgin on my wedding night. We have been married for 10 years. Never sacrifice your education for a man. You need to have your life and career or at least the option to immediately start a career BEFORE you become a wife. Good Luck!
