Cat Just Attacked Me For The 2nd Time

Roommate's cat attacks me.?

I have a new roommate who has a young cat under 2 years old. This cat is increasing attacking me whether I play with it or not.

I have tried to say "Ouch", squirting water, grabbing scruff (not picking it up like that), removing it to another room for some time, and rewarding non biting with treats and play. I have also plugged in feliway diffuser to no avail.

My hands/arms and ankles/shins are covered in scratches and bites.

I have asked the roommate to keep the cat in her room while she is out, she works full time and I am currently unemployed and home mostly. Roommate thinks this is unacceptable.

Am I being unreasonable?

My dogs attacked & ate my cat, are they dangerous now?

I know that there are a lot of people that have the opinion that people shouldn't have cats and dogs as pets.... However, I have always had cats and dogs as pets & have had no problem. The only time there was anything like that was a dog we used to have when I was young killed a couple stray cats (which was horrible & I was devastated), but he was clearly not intending to hurt them, he was playing. With that said, please don't post replies indicating that this is funny in any way, it's not! And I'm in a very difficult position now...

I have a 2 yr old female boxer mix (not sure what the 'mix' is) & a 1 yr old male boxer (supposedly full blooded-no papers) and a male Shepard-8yrs. The female has always been aggressive to strangers & strange animals, without actually biting or attacking, she just barks ferociously in close proximity, and she's always chased our cats, but only aggravated them, never attacked. The male boxer is kind-of dumb, like there's some screws loose & he once swallowed a whole bird without chewing...The Shepard LOVES cats, grooms them even (it's funny).

So, all of a sudden one day the two boxers went after our kitten together... They seemed like they were just playing, but it was too rough & could have hurt him. So, we decided to keep them separated. We have a 6 ft privacy fence around the back yard, so we just let them out there for a bit daily. One day they were out back & one of the kids (not thinking) let out the kitten. When my husband went into the back yard the dogs were fighting over something... He took it from them & discovered that it was half of the kitten. The male boxer had definitely eaten some, tho we don't know if the female did or not. Since then the male boxer has gotten into a fight with each of the other dogs (which never happened before), tho I don't know if it's related, or just because he's getting older... The female attacked one of our older cats today (by herself), and she's never gone after any of them...

Why does my cat attack my chair?

My cat will be sitting in the window sill (her second bed) and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, she will run into the kitchen, flop into our dog's bed, and then run and start clawing the chair (thank God she doesn't have claws otherwise we wouldn't have a chair). Sometimes she finishes it off with a bite or two. She rarely if ever damages anything, but it's just kind of random and funny (watching your cat viciously "attacking" the chair and then two minutes later she is sleeping in the window sill again. I guess I am asking why she does this.

My kitten won't stop attacking me.?

I would attack you too! Don't spray him with water or hiss or ignore him, that's just gonna upset him. Play with him he probably needs to get his energy out. Also kittens play by attacking, so if it's bad then get another cat. We had a female red tabby who like to pounce on and bite my head when I was little so that I would bleed. We got another kitten and they just bit and chased each other instead -- and had fun doing it!
