Caught Stealing Explain

How To Tell My Parents I Was Caught Stealing?

Honestly, I had the same thing happen to me once. One night at dinner when I was fed up with carrying the guilt I told my parents I wanted to talk to both of them in private. Of course they agree to it, and they got really nervous just like me. Asking to speak to them in private will tell them how serious you are about what you've done, and that you are mature and remorseful. Explain to them what happened and tell the as honestly as you can why you didn't tell them sooner.
My parents sat for a moment and thought about it. And then they sighed and patted me of the leg. They told me they were proud that I admitted to it and took responsibility for my actions. I think they were mostly relieved that I hadn't gotten pregnant or something! :P Parents fear a lot worse will happen to their kids than stealing some food from a store.
So my opinion is, be mature about it and own up and just ask for a moment in private with them. Then, the most mature thing you can do is be as honest and humble as possible. Speak the truth. They'll be more relieved than angry.

Stealing at target and not getting caught?

i stole from target today and walked out freely. However, when i got to my car i realized that i left my sunglasses in the fitting room. Not thinkings logically, i decide to leave my stolen goods in the car, and quickly run back in to get my sunglasses (i didnt want to leave them there, they were expensive..)
anyway, so i go back in, and the same lady i had been talking to earlier was still working at the fitting rooms (i always make sure to be friendly and innocent-looking to avoid suspision if i'm shoplifting). I explain to her that i left my sunglasses in one of the fitting rooms while i was trying items on, she said no one had put anything in the "fitting room lost & found" but i could check the fitting rooms myself if i wanted to. So i quickly glanced around the fitting room i had been in, but i didnt see them. The lady told me to go to the guest services desk and see if they had found my glasses. So i did, even though this was getting to be too much of a hassle for a pair of shades. I went up and asked the guy if someone had handed in sunglasses. He opened a drawer and pulled out about 5 or 6 pairs of sunglasses- none of them were mine. He said he would keep an eye out for them and let me know if they find them. He then took my first name and my cell phone number. About 3 or 4 hours later, my cell phone rings. It's a target employee, and they wanted to let me know they think they found my glasses.
I really want to go back to target and pick up my sunglasses, but i'm unbelievably paranoid that they know i stole that day. Like what if they checked out the cameras to see if i set my sunglasses down or something, and they accidently found footage of me shoving a necklace and lipgloss into my pocket??
what if the "finding the sunglasses" phone call is just a trick to lure me back into the store so they can arrest me? i'm really worried to go back. They know my first name, they probably have me on camera, and they have my cell phone number. **** i'm so dumb. someone please respond to this, i needed to vent about it and i'd love to hear someone's feedback on the situation. Hopefully i'm just being paranoid and the target staff was just calling to let me know they found my sunglasses.

What would you do if you were caught stealing your roommate's food?

Depends on what it is and what you're taking. Me, for instance, I would never take a roommate's leftover pizza or Chinese delivery. You never know what their plans are for that and it's a pretty specific item that will very obviously be missed if gone. (I admit that I have stolen my brother's leftover pizza before, but he's literally my brother and that's different. I have rights to mess with him.) If I had leftover Chinese that I was planning on eating for dinner and came back to discover it gone due to a roommate (if brother stole it, that would be different), I'd be mighty pissed. It's also indicative of serious laziness - if you want Chinese, order some. You can get it delivered. There's no need to mooch off of somebody else for that. If you can't afford it, you don't get Chinese. But I have been in a position where I really needed an egg for something that I was making, and a roommate had a full dozen. Then I just took the egg. When the roommate came back, I explained that I'd taken the egg and that I was planning on going to the store the next day and I'd replace the egg at that point. This has never caused me problems, since I've never lived with somebody who needed 12 eggs at once or who really minded. I also always went to the store the next day and replaced the egg. If I took an egg from the roommate who always goes for the super-expensive free-range eggs, I'd buy a dozen or a sixer of the expensive eggs and replaced the purloined egg with a brand of her choosing and left the carton out openly so she could verify. (You pay for convenience.)Likewise, when I'd come home and a roommate said that they'd taken one of my apples or some of my milk or a bit of sour cream for whatever reason, I didn't care. If you can't let go of a cup of milk on occasion, you probably need some perspective.

What is it like to get caught shoplifting at Walmart?

The loss prevention person will stop you as you try to leave and escort you into the security room. If you try to flee or resist you will have aditional charges added when the police arrive and they are usually already on the way. If you have fled the scene the officers will be given your description and they will hunt for you.Wal Mart's policy is to prosecute. If they choose not to prosecute it will be an exception to the rule. While you are sitting in the security room the loss prevention person will be sorting and photographing the property, preparing their police report and copying the video for the police. They will take your picture, issue you a trespass warning for all Wal Marts, meaning that you will be arrested if you return to that store or any Wal Mart.In many states you will be issued a legal notice that you owe the store 2 or 3 hundred dollars in a civil penalty to cover their cost. Then you will be turned over to the custody of the police officer. The police offficer determines if you are eligible for being issued a court date and a notice to appear or if you get the full ride to jail.If you are a juvenile the police will either have you call your parents to come pick you up (imagine having to explain yourself on the phone) or they will transport you to the juvenile processing center. The arrrest becomes a permanent part of your history.Wal Mart is vigorous about catching and prosecuting.

If a store employee is caught stealing money from their employer, how much effect does this have on their employability?

I gotta say it depends on the jobs, previous work history, and amount of theft, as well if they were charged.I made a stupid mistake with my first job, I obviously had no previous work history and I got charged. My first crime even though it was a misdemeanor I had to pay restitution (pay back what I took) and got 6 months probation. So now I have that on my background for 7 years (so far it's only been 3). Since I had no previous work history it's hard for me to find jobs, but add to that an actual crime where I stole from my employer (yes, I know, stupid). It is very hard to get a job in retail (or anything that handles money) and even some non-retail jobs won't hire me. I went to an agency where I talked to someone who handled the employment from that agency to a factory that deals with vegetables (or something like that) and was told they wouldn't even consider me. Seriously? I should add it was a chain store and I've been "banned" from all of them, so imagine not only not being able to get a job but also not being able to go somewhere you went to regularly. It's true not everyone will be prosecuted (it depends on the business) but you will most likely always have to put that employer on your resume and why you "left", I honestly leave it blank because I don't want to put that I was fired for theft. I already don't have a good work history, I'd rather talk about it in an interview and hopefully they'll undertand that I'm not that person. So you see, my advice would be: do NOT ever do anything to ruin your current employment by doing something you're not supposed to (like stealing) because there's always a chance that it will ruin future job opportunities even if it wasn't something big. Nobody wants to hire someone who previously stole from their employer. I work at a restaurant, trying to get a second job (it's not going well) and I have a small child and a husband to take care of (my husband can't work full time). You have to think about your future and decide what's more important; having $200 you can easily get from a register at work or having that job (or potentially better job) and not ruin your future employment. We learn from our mistakes but sometimes thinking things through and thinking about the future would be better to prevent mistakes.

I got caught shoplifting is my life ruined ?

OK so I’ve never done anything bad in my entire life. Tonight I was at my friend like any other night and we decided to stop by target we went and I did not plan a shoplifting anything long story short my friend has been shoplifting for years. Wanna pick up a shirt that was only $10 she told me why don’t I just take it so I don’t to pay that I looked at her and I did just leave it first and said no. After a while I gave in and I know how stupid it was and I put it into my purse I feel extremely guilty. We got caught and the police got involved. I now have a court date and have to pay a fine in the mail for stealing two shirts adding up to $20. I feel so ruined and disappointed in myself I can’t even begin to explain. Is my life ruined I know how wrong I was to make this decision and have truly never done anything like it. I’m only 17 but I feel like I can’t ever recover from this’s my parents are so upset with me I’ve had everything taken from me and I mean everything. My dad won’t even look at me anymore I want to die I know it’s sounds silly but this has really hurt me and I feel like I’m doomed.

My daughter was caught shoplifting today. What is a good but fair punishment for her?

A good butt pounding for starters. Then take her back to Target, and get them to agree to have her clean up around the parking lot, and the toilets for free for 25 hours.

What do I do after stealing from my parents?

Ask yourself why you did it.Stealing from your parents isn’t necessarily bad.If they deliberately starved you and you stole the money to buy yourself dinner then it’s actually good. But if you stole from them for the sake of your own ego, then it’s bad.Not all parents are good people, many parents are wicked, and wicked people can do some very extreme things. We may be forced to do extreme things to look after ourselves in the presence of wicked people. The meme going around that parents can only love their children, that they can only want what’s for the best for their children, or that they have unconditional love for their children because it’s instinctive and therefore automatic has to stop. Only retards buy into that meme.Retards deliberately blind themselves to the many monthly instances where they witness with their very own eyes parents being cruel and sadistic towards their own kids.Retards service evil with lies.
