Caught While Trying To Remove Bike Parts

Is it illegal to remove parts from a vehicle before repossession in Wi?

First off I am not looking for what anyone believes to be the 'moral' answer, I am looking for legitimate legal advice. I have finally succumbed to the economy, lost my job almost a year ago, and no longer have a savings to live on. Unfortunately my vehicles will be repossessed.
The original motor in this vehicle blew and I spent $6000 on a new motor. This is a performance vehicle that I also spent a lot of money upgrading with performance parts from the ground up. However, I no longer have many of the stock parts, and I do not want to lose my expensive motor, or performance parts once this vehicle is repossessed.
I am completely aware that I will be responsible for any remaining debt once the vehicle is sold at auction. Is it illegal for me to remove my performance parts without replacing them with stock parts? Can I legally take the motor out of the vehicle and let it be repossessed with no engine?

Thank you for your time?

How do I remove a gauze pad that is sticking to a skin abrasion?

This is one of the most fearful things in my life. Once i had wound in my toe when i was starting my bike. Its stand got on my toe and the whole nail was plucked up. I had to go to clinic for dressing in every other day. I really get tense when doctor tries to remove gauze pad from the wound. Here is what doctor used to do to make it less painful.Wash hands so that bacteria from hands do not transfer to wound or abrasion. You may take pain killer if you are feeling too much pain.He would then apply saline solution on the wound. Or you can use luke warm water instead of saline solution. Then Soak your bandage-covered wound in the salt water/saline solution for a few minutes. Now slowly try to remove you gauze pad.You can treat simple abrasion at home yourself and dress it yourself. If cleaned regularly with clean bandage it is not a big issue of course if wound is not big.I hope that would help you. Thanks for asking :)

How to remove the seat off a kawasaki dirt bike ( kx125 )?

For future reference, always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Sometimes the year can make a difference.

The seat is bolted on.
Go to - your bike - Parts Diagrams - Seat
Some years require the side covers to be removed, to gain access to the seat bolts.

What may cause a parked car to catch fire?

It is important to understand the Fire Triangle first, according to which fire starts only when FUEL, IGNITION, and, OXYGEN react with each other and if we are able to remove or control even one of it, the fire can be extinguished.OXYGEN + FUEL + IGNITION ————————————————————-> FIRE …………………………………………………….(Chemical Reaction)In a car there is abundance of fuel which includes flammable fluids like petrol, engine oil and almost everything in the car is a fuel, from seats, to plastic used in the interior. Oxygen is abundant in nature and as long as we park the vehicle in a vacuum, subtracting Oxygen from the above equation is impossible. The last but not the least, IGNITION which we are going to discuss below.Depending on the miles the car has clocked before parking, weather, adjacent vehicle, state of the car machinery and human failure the possible causes are as follows:1) ARSON: It is very much possible that someone may alight your car, which can be a deliberate Violation (whether Routine, Situational, or Exceptional).2) ELECTRIC MALFUNCTION: As explained above.3) STATIC ELECTRICITY: Static discharge of the car or adjacent cars, through friction buildup in the tyres, or wind blowing over the metal body causes ignition spark.4) RADIATION: If the car is parked where there is a radiation leak from the buildings or other one off scenarios where the other vehicles are carrying unsafe illegal materials.5) ELECTRICITY/ARCING: This normally happens when you park the car under overhead electric lines.6) FLASHPOINT/AUTO-IGNITION: The flashpoint of gasoline is -43 deg C, and auto-ignition temperature is 280 deg C, hence car temperature matters too.7) POOR MAINTENANCE: Leaking fluids, Overheating engines, Overheating catalytic converters, battery issues, bad gasket are all examples of poor maintenance which may lead to fire. This is all at the top of my head. If I missed out anything please feel free to add to the list.P.S: It should be noted that fire is unpredictable, and there are many other factors in play which results in a fire in a parked car, and sometimes even if all the factors mentioned above maybe present yet there wont be any fire at all. However, it is important for us to be safe and not neglect on the safety responsibility towards our own, as well as other who maybe affect by our negligence.Be safe!

Does the traffic police in India have the right to take our vehicle keys?

No, they can't. There is a set of instructions issued by authorities to be followed in different situations. It doesn't mention anywhere to pull your vehicles keys.1. A motor vehicle shall be stopped for challaning only on the commission of a visible traffic offence. 2.The challaning officer shall walk to the point where the vehicle is stopped and shall first greet the driver and then tell him the reasons for his vehicle having been stopped in polite language.3.The demand for the production of the driving licence and other documents shall be made politely. It is the duty of every motor vehicle driver to carry the original driving licence at all times and produce the same on demand by a police officer in uniform. The production of registration certificate, permit, insurance, pollution under control certificate and fitness certificate can be done within 14 days. In case of failure to produce the driving licence, the registration certificate, insurance etc. the driver shall be challaned under the presumption that the said document does not exist.4.When a driver is challaned he shall be permitted to record his brief comments before signing the challan receipt. In case the driver poses resistance to the challan, the challaning officer shall politely caution him that this shall lead to an enhancement of the penalty under section 179. In case the driver tries to intimidate or influence the challaning officer in any manner the challaning officer shall record the same on the reverse of the original challan form and also inform the Control Room where an entry shall be made in the log book.5. In case the driver uses abusive language and uses or threatens to use physical violence, the Control Room shall be informed by the challaning officer, which shall in turn call for a reserve officer from the Police Station having jurisdiction for initiating legal action. The nearest traffic interceptor shall also be directed to reach the spot for assistance. The voice recorder & video recorder shall be employed to record evidence of the misbehaviour shown by the traffic offender.but you are trying to run away they can pull out your vehicles key as a reflex or primary response to your action. In many cases when the driver trying to run away on a crowded road it causes horrible accident and in some cases it resulted in death of driver so please don't try to run away and follow the traffic rules so don't get caught.

Motorcycle starter spins but doesn't catch engine?

I purchased a 1982 Suzuki GS300. It was running good the first day and the next day...it wouldn't start. The starter grinds but there is no engine noise whatsoever. What could have happened?

What are some techniques to catch a bike thief long after the bike is stolen?

It's tough to catch a bike thief after the fact. Few people record the serial numbers on their bikes, and even when they do, the serial numbers are on only a few components of the bike. Bikes are easily "parted out" and broken down so the parts are combined with others to make a new, untraceable bike. Some police agencies use "bait bikes" to decoy thieves. The bikes can't be remotely disabled the way that bait cars can. The bikes are left unsecured in public view, under covert surveillance by the police. When the bike is taken, chase units capture the thief. Even this tactic is limited in effectiveness, as bike theft is viewed as a minor crime and thieves are not held long in custody or given substantial sentences on conviction. They do occasionally get caught with stolen bike and bike parts at their homes if the police follow up the arrests with search warrants.
