Why is American FOOTBALL so popular?
I'm not big into sports anyway, but I really hate football. I can watch a tennis or a soccer game and some Olympic sports, but football is so boring. The players take 5 minutes to line up, and then a play lasts about 5 to 10 seconds. It's a lot of stop and stall and standing around. It's really boring. I like to watch people run around and actually play; otherwise, a sport won't hold my attention. Can I get some amens or at least some explanations why so many people like this miserably boring game?

Yes, it has. Back then there was only about 10000 registered players in total but after the anime was shown, the number has doubled and there is about 20000 players now. Many high schools founded a football team and more than 100 high school teams now compete in the national championship. However, the sport is still not a dominant sport, hindering behind soccer and baseball. Even rugby.

In college, one loss means your national championship hopes are likely dashed. In the NFL, you can only afford to lose about 6 games. ^^Never heard of fantasy hockey. No it wont be as popular as baseball or football because as you mention your classmates say its boring.When you think of hockey boring isn't a term I think of..Most people I'd ask would say baseball or golf is boring.ALOT of people can't skate so its easy for them to say hockey stinks. You can have all the protests you want, it's not going to change anything because once football season come back around they're going to overlook that shit anyway when it's back on TV and their kids youth season start so why even bother? You would have to literally stop women from chasing football players and stop football from making money altogether then find a replacement to fill in it's void to make it's popularity obsolete. Sounds fucked up, I know, but you have 0.9% of making that happen and that percentage is still a stretch!!!!!!
