Change computer location from EST to PST?

I just watched the live stream of the VS Fashion show on CBS online at 10pm EST, i live on the east coast. But I want to know if it's possible to watch it again at 1 a.m. my time, 10 p.m. PST when it comes on for the west coast people. Can I change my computers location settings to make it think I'm on the west coast? So i'll be able to google a PST live stream instead of a live stream from my time zone. Or is there anyway at all to watch pacific time streams online even on the east coast? Any ideas? Thanks

How can i change my computer location to canada?

The site does not know YOU are anywhere. What the site does is retrieves your IP address and matches it to determine eligibility to view contents. So, you would need to have a Canadian IP address.

The only way I can think of to have one is to subscribe to a Canadian based ISP and get a static IP address.

If you move to a different location but have the same computer will your IP address change? For example: if I lived in the USA but then moved to Australia with the same computer will my IP address change? Or will it still show the USA one?

Your IP will not be the same, IP numbers change when you change internet service provider and/or the network card in your computer.Your computers IP address depend on the network card address which requests IP from your internet service provider. All computer have something called MAC ADDRESSES which identifies the address on the network card. They look like the followingAA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF When your computer starts up it contacts your Internet service provider saying hey I have network card adress AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF give me an IP please. Your Internet service provider will then give you an ip.If you do not use your computer for a while someone else might get your IP. IP addresses assigned by most Internet service providers are dynamic.

How do I change the user name that appears in the file location address in Windows 10? (screenshot in details)

Before, it was possible to change the name on a user file, but it appears that with the advent of Windows 10, it is becoming increasingly difficult or even almost impossible to change the name on ones user file. I have personally tried some tweaks that were working on Windows 7, but unfortunately those tweaks are not working on Windows 10. I will advise that you create a new account if you must change the user's file name. To get more information about this you can read this article of mine at How to Change Your PC Name and Start screen name (with Screenshots)

Does your ip adress change when you are at different location?

You actually have two IP addresses. The external address that we see is assigned by the internet provider to the modem where you are, home, office, coffee shop, etc. That address, of course will be different in every location.
The second IP address is given to your computer by the local router. This address is used by the router to keep your internet travels sorted out from the work of all the others on the network. These internal addresses are protected by the router from the outside world.

I have moved. How can I change the location of my Facebook "smart list" to reflect my new city?

Well, I do not use facebook with the mobile “app”; in fact, I usually use facebook just on (“from”) a computer, not a phone. So … I might not be the best qualified to “understand” the difference between a “smart” list, and a list that is of low or medium intelligence. Also, I suspect that some of the facebook tools (including, I guess, those for dealing with “smart” lists), apparently work differently on the mobile “app” or [smart] phone oriented interface, vs. the computer-based (“web browser”) interface to the facebook web site.…and, as a result, one might have to use a different “section” of the facebook “help pages”, depending upon your situation. (e.g., computer / “web browser”, or mobile “app” / [smart] phone.)Background: I did a search within the facebook “HELP”, for [the 2-word phrase], “smart list”, . . . and, one of the “HITS”, was this:Can I edit a smart list? [1](…and, that might actually be helpful!; … but it may be — [I think it is] — a more computer-oriented [vs. phone-oriented] help page “answer”.)SO, I also tried doing a search, from [the starting point] “m dot facebook dot com” -- that is, from this more “mobile oriented” starting point:Welcome to Facebook [2]…because I thought that starting there would allow me to find an answer that would be more appropriate for a mobile “app” or “phone” -oriented question. From there, I found — (probably using one of those “triple” equal signs) — a menu that had an entry [a link], displayed as “Help Center”, and it pointed me to this:Help Center [3]… (also known as “m dot facebook dot com” /slash “help”) … and, once I arrived there, I did a search for the 2-word phrase: smart list; . . . and I got several hits, which — I figured — would point to “help” pages that are somewhat more “mobile” oriented; … such as this:Help Center [answer] page for “smart lists” [4]so …maybe [4] can [help to] answer your question! I hope so.
