Cheap Way To Travel Dc To La

I left DC and traveled 210 miles. Where would I be for traveling a middle America route to Los Angeles?

Roanoke, Virginia?https://goo.gl/maps/WN1Pa9K2iRD2What a strange game….

How can I get to LA cheaply at the last minute?

Its’ all depend on where you are coming from. You have many airports to select from, including LAX, SNA, BUR, LNG or ONT. If you are taking flight which is domestic or International, try Sky Planners - Domestic air tickets, you’ll get your solution of booking air ticket either it can be online or offline. Try to take flight on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and give yourself at least 2 weeks advance purchase which is necessary, its’ all for customers convenience.

Visiting and Travel in Los Angeles: What's the best and cheapest way to get to and from LAX to the Hollywood area?

I haven't done this, so take this advice with a grain of salt. There's the LAX FlyAway bus. You have two possible ways to get to Hollywood. http://www.lawa.aero/welcome_LAX...1) There's one bus that stops at the Expo/La Brea station on the Metro Expo Line. You would take the Metro Expo Line to its last stop: The 7th st Metro Center. From there you would take the Redline to Hollywood. The bus to Expo/La Brea costs $6.00, a ticket to to the 7th st Metro station will be $1.25, and there will be an additional $1.25 cost to transfer to the Redline.2) You can take a bus to Union Station in downtown. It would be a longer bus ride but you can directly get on the Redline from there.  The bus to Union Station $7.00, and it would cost $1.25 to get on the Redline. The LA metro system is different from BART, New York, and Washington DC in that a ticket is a flat fee and not dependent on the distance between the station you enter and the station you exit.

What's the best way to travel from LA to Orange County by public transportation?

LA is a huge place. It can take hours to go from one end to another. Orange county is smaller but still large. Unless you specify *where* in LA and *where* in OC you will not receive quality answers here on Quora. What time and what day are likewise critical information needed here.My general answer is to look into Metrolink trains as they are not affected by automobile traffic. But this may be a non-option depending on what I wrote above.Welcome to LA.

What route would you take driving from DC to LA as a leisurely road trip (4-5 days)?

Washington, DC, to Los Angeles, CA, is about 2700 miles, depending on your starting and stopping points.  Even on one of the most-direct routes, driving it will take approximately 40 hours, not including time to rest, eat, take breaks, etc..  Unless you're able to drive for more than 12 hours per day, you probably can't have a "leisurely road trip" in 4 or 5 days on that route.  You might choose to stop on the side of the road and look at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, or spend an extra hour or two getting to or from the Grand Canyon, or even "ooh!" and "ahh!" at the pretty lights while driving through Las Vegas, but you won't be able to spend any quality time at more than one of any of those places

Best routes (fastest and easiest) from Washington DC/ northern Virginia to Los Angeles?

The interstate highway system of course..

Take I-66 from the DC area to where it joins up with I-81 near Strasburg VA.

I-81 south to where it joins up with I-40 near Knoxville TN.

I-40 west to Barstow CA.

I-15 south from Barstow CA to LA.

Pretty easy.
