Cheapest Data Plan For Tablet Toronto

What is the best international cell phone plan for an American working in Britain for some time on and off? I don't want to give up my US number, but I also want a UK number and want to hold onto it when I am back in the states.

Port your US number to a US provider that has low-cost plans and wi-fi call routing. T-Mobile does for sure but I don't want to advertise for them. Between a $3 per month maintenance account and their unlimited plans with international roaming there is something that fits your budget. I added wi-fi routing because it removes international roaming from being a big cost hit.I keep a USA SIM from T-mobile in a burner phone within the USA and easily swap it to a dual SIM phone outside the USA. They have a $3 account with an allowance of 30 minutes/30 texts/30mb data. I've also got a Google Voice number in the US pointing to that SIM. The Google Voice number lets me have unlimited VOIP and texts to/from the US over wifi. In the US, I can temporarily upgrade the t-mobile account for more realistic use.Get a dual SIM phone in the UK. Put the T-mobile SIM in the second slot.In both countries you could also use Skype and purchase both or either US and UK phone numbers. I've found Google Voice to be more flexible about how it uses and forwards the “real” phone number. Skype is more flexible in being a VOIP only solution that doesn't require a real phone number. It's easier to manage a single number as well. Skype costs more. YMMV.EDIT: I just wrote that and realized I reversed your problem. You want to keep a UK number in the USA. The advice is still valid. Get a UK phone number in Google Voice, and find a UK cell company with wifi routing that lets you put their SIM into a “maintenance” state.

How fast is 25 Mbps internet?

25 Mbps is the minimum broadband speed as defined by the FCC.25 Mbps may be adequate for a single user or multiple users with light use.Remember, Internet bandwidth is shared. The more users and devices that you have, the more Internet speed you will require. Many people would likely be surprised at how many active connections their router has. I have dozens. cell phones, tablets, iPods, game consoles, laptops, desktops, ROKU boxes, Internet enabled devices such as TVs and audio receivers, Amazon echo and smart-home devices and the list goes on.Demands are increasing, streaming a 4K movie from Netflix could eat up all of a 25 Mbps connection. Here are Netflix minimum connection speed recommendations.I have multiple TVs and had previous buffering issues when simultaneously streaming even with a 100 Mbps connection.I have since upgraded to Cox Gigablast Internet, which solved any Internet bandwidth problems. That being said,You could be happy with 25 Mbps, just a few years ago 25 Mbps was considered very fast, and in some areas still is.For general browsing, game playing and streaming, you’ll likely be fine. However, multiple HD video streaming, many simultaneous users, etc. may stress a 25 Mbps Internet connection. If your 25 Mbps speed is not sufficient, the only real way to speed up your Internet connection is to get a faster ISP or speed tier.First contact your existing ISP and see if they offer a faster Internet plan and what kind of deal they will offer if you threaten to switch providers. If they don’t offer a faster plan, or the price is too high, then it will depend on what Internet providers are available in your specific area and what levels of service they offer in that location. To compare speed and prices of your local competitors, go to a ISP comparison site that lets you input your address, and compare the pricing and terms of the offers that are available in your area. In the US you can use this one , otherwise do a search for "ISP comparison" at your favorite search engine. You'll want to pick the fastest plan that fits your budget. In some areas this can be 1000 Mbps+. But these high end broadband plans can be expensive. You may find that something in the 50 to 150 Mbps range might satisfy your needs at a much lower cost.Good Luck...

Is it possible to use Uber if you have an iPad but do not have a smartphone?

Yes, you definitely can use your iPad. As long as the account has been validated, there is nothing preventing you from installing the app into your iPad and using it. I use my iPad to order for a car and I have the WiFi only model. The answer on Uber's support page is mainly for simplicity. One of the reasons why they require a smartphone is due to the fact that Uber drivers can either call or SMS you for better coordination. This is where the "phone" part comes in.What I did for friends in the past was to have them register using my phone (I log off my account first). No need to change SIM's, they just need to provide their number during registration. Once they got verified, I have them log on to their own device. It's the quickest and painless way to have people use your referral code. :)

CAN I GO TO ANY WALK IN CLINIC & GET A PERSCRIPTION FOR VIAGRA? EVEN IF I DONT HAVE INSURANCE?

Insurance has nothing to do with it. If you have the money to visit a walk-in clinic or a doctor in private practice and you can afford the drug (it is a very expensive drug).

Any doctor has the ability to prescribe it and I can't see why you would not be able to get a prescription. Some doctors are more willing to quickly prescribe it others can require more than a physical exam and it can get costly. So it depends on who you see. I don't think anything more than a physical exam is needed.

But don't get it online. You could easily get fake Viagra and because Viagra is not a controlled substance sellers can sell a lot more and it keeps costs down if you sell fakes (as you can imagine).

What is the difference between WiFi and the internet?

Wi-Fi is a technology often used to distribute Internet connections to non-wired computers. The Internet is simply the interconnection of many computers by various means.Let me explain with a simple diagram:Your phone corresponds with “wireless smartphone” in the diagram. As you can see, there are two nodes between your phone and the Internet. The link between each node is fallible. In your case, you have access to the router but not the Internet. You have Wi-Fi but not Internet access.Any connection can fail. The connection between your wired computer and the printer can fail if the router goes down. The connection between your laptop and the Internet can wither away if your modem isn’t doing its job.Because any connection can fail, it is important to be aware of what connections even exist. The diagram can help with that. Say you can access Quora but not your printer. Judging by the diagram, an issue between the printer and the router is to blame. If you cannot access Quora but can access Google, you can deduce that everything from your computer to the Internet is working properly. In this case, Quora is down (which happens more frequently than desired, I will say). Each connection, node, and device has a purpose. If any of them go down, your entire network faces the possibility of being decimated.By learning about individual problem areas, you can more skillfully resolve issues that can and will arise as long as people use the Internet.
