Cheapest Way To Call A Japanese Iphone From Another Country

China and japan, the same country?why?

Actually, while there are many Americans here that make the mistake about the Japanese and Chinese cultures, most know that they are separate countries. Most Americans consider Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Honda to be some of the top car manufacturers.

As for grade school through high school, I can not answer as to what they learn about Japan. I was home-schooled. But I know for a fact that we learn a lot at the college level if we choose to make it our focus of study. My degree was actually in nihon bunka (Japanese Culture for those that do not speak Japanese). During that time I took many classes that taught the differences in the cultures of the far east of Asia. I know many that have studied the history of Japan from as early as the end of the Jumon era till the present.

This doesn't meant that there are not ignorant people when it comes to the Japanese and Chinese cultures. There is always going to be people in every nation that have misconceptions about another nation. Take your beliefs about Americans for an example (at least you asked for clarification though). I am not trying to sound harsh on you here either.

And as for technology in China, it all depends on if you are in the big cities or in the countryside. The countrysides are more rustic, while the cities are very modern.

I have never heard anyone say the Chinese bombed Pearl Harbor though (interesting that you use a European spelling of harbor).

"Is that how americans view all europe/south america etc?
And what do americans learn in school? all they know is which race is "cool", or which race has the biggest thing between their legs...how ridiculous" -- above poster

That is a highly inaccurate, broad generalization. Such generalizations are exactly what you seem to be upset about with Americans. Yet you end your post with comments that show you have the EXACT SAME mindset about America that have you troubled.

As for MXC, while many people think it is funny, I hate it. I would much rather watch a film starring someone like Mifune (old Japanese actor) than that rubbish. And yes, I know there is much more to Japan than the samurai films. I am just stating that I would rather watch those as it is more interesting and I can at least practice my listening skills.

Have fun.

I want to get a cell phone that I can use in other countries- not just the US. Where do I find out about that?

The best thing to do is go to your service provider and have them help you. It's not always the phone that doesn't work in foreign countries...what probably needs to be done is you simply need to have your plan changed so you have international service. My friend is going to Spain for ten days, and she is having the international service turned on for those ten days, which you can also do (activate it for certain dates, and it is then automatically deactivated). I don't know that much but I know that that is possible, and talking to your service provider would help you out tremendously I'm sure. I hope I helped at least a little bit!

T-Mobile cell phone use in another country?

It looks like your phone will work in Jamaica but it's expensive.
http://www.t-mobile.com/International/Ro...

What you can do is call T-mobile, talk to tech support. Tell them that you are traveling overseas and you want to SIM unlock your phone. They'll help you out with this for free. Most countries sell pay as you go SIM cards at convenience stores or phone stores b/c they think that a certain phone can be locked to a certain provider is retarded.

I traveled all over Asia, and my phone wouldn't work. But another option is buy a cheap phone and a SIM card in that country, then you are guaranteed for it to work.

Let me keep this answer dead simplePros-Cheap price (you will get the iPhone in USA for about 10,000–15,000 INR cheaper.Cons-You will not be covered under warranty for iPhones’ warranty is restricted to its country of purchase. You will be getting the standard US charger, not the indian unit. There would be no difference in power output but you would have to purchase a converter or an indian power adapter (which retails for about 1500INR).That’s it. Personally, I believe it is a pretty decent deal to get it from the United States. No iPhone dies randomly on its own unless it is damaged physically or due to liquids, and apple warranty does not cover liquid or physical damage.P.S. If you are getting the carrier unlocked version then you will NOT face any issue regarding networks, sims, et cetera. Now, regarding the models. Please do not get the carrier locked ones. You can go for any other model (either GSM or CDMA) .

Will it cost me to call from my cellphone to another in a different state?

It relies upon on your value plan. If it does your on the incorrect plan. Who costs you for this? maximum value plans are u . s . a . extensive now so they wouldnt charge you for calling a nother cellular telephone in yet another state or perhaps on your guy or woman state. call Your service service and locate out what style of plan you have.

Is it possible to bring an iPhone 4 to another country on airplane mode?

Hi, I'm going to Aruba in a few days and I wanted to bring my iPhone 4 for the airport waits and to use in the hotel. I'm not interested in using data roaming or international messaging. If I set my phone to airplane mode, will I still be charged if I leave it on when I arrive to Aruba? And will I still be able to use the wifi there?

I'm coming from the US, I have the 200MB internet plan, and unlimited text messaging.

Please and thanks!

The Organization to Promote Japanese Restaurants Abroad (JRO) -- is the Japanese government's non-profit organization formed in July 2007 mandated to support Japanese restaurants overseas, promote Japanese food and food culture around the globe — this is the organised effort together with Japanese private enterprise which contributed to the expansion of Japanese cuisine and food market. It was this formidable strength of support to Japanese owned restaurants worldwide. JRO's concentrated focus of selected key markets globally played a pivotal role in putting Japanese cuisine/food on the world map. The key nations/region include Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Thailand and Indonesia - countries with sizeable Japanese expat population; and markets in cities in the Americas and Australia. On the contrary the growth of Chinese restaurants was organic, unorganised without official governmental support. They were on their own. In a way they were lucky exploiting the Chinese diaspora in large Chinese communities all over the world. But that was it. Japan in a relatively short span of time superceded Chinese restaurants/food in terms of organisation, promotion and niche positioning.Even though Japanese cuisine was historically influenced by Chinese cuisine, Japanese cuisine also opened up to influence from Western cuisines in the modern era. Dishes inspired by foreign cuisine in particular Chinese food like ramen and gyōza, were re-exported back to China; as well as foods like spaghetti, curry, and hamburgers were adopted, made over for Japanese tastes. Chinese food remain largely intact with little absorption of foreign culinary culture. Dishes were only tweaked to suit the taste of local population in the countries of operation.International recognition of Japanese cuisine and food culture:as of 2018, Japan is the country with the most starred Michelin restaurants overtaking France.Mekko chart showing Michelin star restaurants by countryDecember 2013: "Washoku, traditional dietary cultures of the Japanese, notably for the celebration of New Year" was added to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage, bringing the number of Japanese assets listed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list to 22.
