Chi Or Babyliss Hair Straightener

Is a babyliss hair straightener better than a chi?

Chi is better they are the original inventors of the ceramic hair straightener and more widely prefered in the salon industry. For home use either will work well.

CHI or Babyliss hair straightener?

Which hair straightener would you recommend and why - bbCHI Exclusive Platinum Ceramic Iron by CHI or Nano Titanium 1.25" straightening iron? I have naturally curly hair. Thanks!

What should i get a CHI or Babyliss Pro Straightener? I Have Really Poofy And Thick, coarse Hair?

Okay well I know the CHI ones are REALLY good
Like my friend has one, and she's had it for a while and it still works perfectly, i love it

But Babyliss...i don't really like those... I got one for my birthday last year, and like, after a couple months, it completely died out... It still gets kind of hot, but it doesnt straighten that good at all

Right now i have a NP straightener, thats really good too

So i think you should get the CHI between those two.... Babyliss sucks.. in my experience

Chi or Revlon or Babyliss flat iron hair straighteners?

None. Best is not necessary the safest for the hair. ALL HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, no matter what brand, who sells them, how much you paid for them, ALL damage the hair. Read what it's doing to their hair, even the most expensive salon products does not protect hair 100%: Hair loss, hair falling, split ends, hair not growing normally. I've responded to many girls under 15, experienced in hair falls 7 in 2 hours, 9-3-10.
Your hair won't look like those advertised, after you leave the house. And it won't look like that, after you've used it for awhile. It's all part of the business, to sell products but they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss, due to 'abuse'.

For your short hair, you can straighten your hair using a pro round brush. Conair sells them. Lightly blow dry and you're good to go! Add hairspray to 'freeze' the style.

What are some of the best hair straighteners?

Well I would like to suggest you on the basis of my personal experience :As a matter of fact, I have quite dense hair which is frizzy and very difficult to manage. So I decided to tame my thick, wavy hair by a hair Straightener. Also if you don't know I must tell you, please don't use this all the time, these are heating devices Afterall and will be harmful for your hair in the long run.Ya, but once in a week is okay that too with hair serum. I'll suggest you a budget friendly serum which is just fine, if you have a big budget than you can go for the costlier and the better ones.Streax Hair Serum, 100mlI've come up with a list of few of the hair straighteners, you can choose according to your needs and budget ::Philips KeraShine HP8317 Hair StraightenerPrice : Amazon :2100 | Flipkart : 2950PROS :1) Makes curly hair, poker straight.2) Reduces frizz big time.3) Even dry hair can become soft and shiny thanks to the straightener.4) No hair fall/breakage.5) Not at all time-consuming.6) Gives salon-like results without the pulling and breaking of hair.7) The results last for about 2 days.8) Extra wide plates help in straightening long hair.9) Heats up in 1-2 minutes.10) Guarantee of 2 years is provided.11) Not heavy to hold and is easy to use without burning oneself.12) Automatic shut off in 1 hour is a really helpful function.CONS :1) Takes a little more time and effort to straighten curly hair.2) The Jojoba Oil infusion starts to rub off from the first use.3) Some people might find their hair feel dry even if the straightener makes them shiny and soft.Philips HP8310/00 Hair StraightenerPros :A multipurpose straightener with which you can straighten as well as add curls to your hair (though not tight curls).Sleek and attractive design.Comes from the trusted brand “Phillips.”Price is quite reasonable.Ceramic plates that distribute heat evenly.Straightens hair effectively.Negative ions smooths out frizzy hair and fly-aways.Heat is only up to 210 degrees, which is sufficient to straighten out wavy to curly hair.2-year warranty.Cons :Cannot be used on wet hair (I don’t think that is a con, I would never try to straighten wet hair).Would not be so effective to straighten out tight curls or coarse hair.Check out the full list of hair straighteners here :Best Hair Straighteners for Performanc

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd and Chameleon. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Remington, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap drugstore brands that tend to cause hair damages. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

=== Flat Iron Hair Straighteners FAQ ======

Q: What size should I choose?

A: For most people, 1", 1-1/4" or 1.5" are all good choices. If you have very thick, coarse, long or ethic hair, bigger size (1.5" or 2") will save you some time. If you have thin, fine hair, get a smaller one (1" or 3/4").

Q: What temperature should I should on my hair?

A: Based on my expereince, 380F is the average temperature to use. If you hair is thick and coarse, bump it up a bit, if you hair is fine or overprocessed, start it at somewhere 300F, and try it. If the setting does not work well for you, increase a bit until you get a setting that works well for you but does not burn your hair. Trial and error.
