What's a good way to remove factory decals from motorcycle side covers?
easy Answer is NO.. anything that will attack a decal that's been on since 1983 will attack the paint as well...plus the paint will be a different color under the decal.. so if you get it off.. paint will not be faded.. best fix is sand it off.. repaint
How can i fix a smoking dirt bike engine?
99% of the time, smoke out of a 4-stroke means your gonna need new rings. If your bike has a lot of hours on it, this is most likely the case. If it is the rings, the smoke will worsen the more you ride it. This is a sign that the rings are continuing to wear. Good luck!
How do surgeons develop steady hands outside of the OR?
Not sure that everyone doesn't actually have the "steadiness" already. What we do have is the ability to have impeccable hand eye control. When we tell our hands "go left 1mm" they go left only 1mm and not 2mm or up 1mm.There is nothing to do to practice but the ability to see the difference between correct and not correct comes with time in grade and that is why residencies in the surgical specialties take so many years. Especially with more and more super specialties being created the actual need for multiple years in terms of knowledge is not the issue but the time doing the various services under supervision is necessaryYears ago using one example the Orthopedic specialties one would become on and either did spine or limb Orthopedics now the specialty is broken to hand and wrist and shoulder and elbow and that is JUST the arm. Why does my harley smoke when i let off the throttle?
i just did a top end rebuild, but had alot of problems,the motor is a built 113". the top end was taken off 4 times, 1st-new rings bead blasted head,cleaned valves removed all carbon even on pistons used harley new titanium rings and a thin head gasket to boost comp, .030 new valve seals relapped valves and reasembled. no good blowing huge amount of oil out of both cyl. 2nd time tear down looked things over and it all looked good except for oil in cylindersi reasembled with a different set of heads, the stock ones instead of the SE HTCC heads. same problem ton of oil blown out of exhaust. 3 rd time-tear down looked at everything and walla the ring are wrong size correct diameter but much thinner and not as wide so i deburred the old rings which may have only 3000 miles, and replaced them.much better starts write up but blows oil out of front cylinder and front cyl has bad head gasket leak. 4 th time- removed only front head and found head had warp in head i could put two pcs., of
My minibike is going without me even turning the throttle how can I fix it?
Hey I recently purchased a Coleman Trail 200I Minibike for my son. The second day he had it he rode it and fell. The minibike hit the ground in the right side (where the throtle is it it matters) after that he turned it on and it zoomed without him even turning the throttle. Also interesting when the choke was on it didn t go without throttle which is what should happen but as soon as you would turn the throttle off, it went without him even turning the throttle. I figured the centrifugal clutch on it was hung up but I don t really know how to fix it, and I m not even sure if that s the problem
