Chunk Of The Monitor Went Black Size Of Blackness Changes With Refresh Rate

My laptop screen got a black patch on its screen (at the left top corner). How to fix it?

A pixel of a laptop screen includes three diodes that are red, blue and green. A black patch will emerge on the screen of your laptop when all three diodes fail. The occurrence of the black patch on display is also called as a dead pixel. This takes because the pixels are either burnt, or they are unable to receive signals from the board. With the help of recovery app, you can easily fix this issue of the dead pixel. The recovery apps force the pixels on the screen of your laptop to change rapidly, probably reawakening the faulty diodes. Alternatively, you can also apply slight pressure on the monitor of the laptop where the black patch is befalling. You can solve this issue with the help of following steps:1. Using LCD repair● Go to the website of LCD Repair.● Click on the option of “Fix My Screen.” Your browser will now present a full-screen pattern of rapidly-flashing basic colors.● You need to keep this running on your screen at least for 10 to 15 minutes.● Now, Press the “Esc” button to finish the pattern and return to LCD Repairs menu screen. Check whether the black patch is gone.2. Using JScreenFix● Go to the website of JScreenFix.● Now click on the option of “Launch JScreenFix.” A window will appear on your laptop screen with a quickly changing static-like pattern.● You need to select and drag the window over the black patch and then let the program run for around 10 minutes.● Click on the “Back” arrow and then check the dead pixel to detect if the problem has been resolved.3. Using Physical Pressure● Put a small piece of tape to the edge of your screen directly above the area of your dead pixel. This pieces of tape will act as mark and will help you to locate the back patches when your monitor is turned off.● Shut down the laptop● Take a soft cloth and pencil, cover the eraser end of the pencil with this soft piece of cloth.● Push the eraser end of the pencil upon the stuck pixel for at least 10 seconds and then release it. Repeat this process for 15 to 20 times.● Now remove the tape and turn on the laptop to check the problem is eliminated or not.

If i dont like roller coasters, should i ride space mountain?? (orlando, fl)?

If you want to try roller coasters, Space Mountain is definitely the one you want to do first. It was my first roller coaster, and that was three years ago (I'm 20 now). So everyone of all ages has fears of roller coaster. It was SO much fun!

Really, it's all a mind thing. Basically, what you have to do is just tell yourself it's going to be okay, sit yourself on the ride, and go. It's never as bad as you think it will be. And the worst that could happen is that you don't like it; and you never have to ride it again! But it's like, you can't say you don't like something until you've tried it. Yes, roller coasters can be intimidating, but you never know how much fun you'll have until you try it. Like you said before, the only time you were crying on Pirates of the Caribbean was at the beginning, before you even got on the ride. That's what it's like for almost all coasters: the anticipation is what gets to you. But the ride is over in less than 5 minutes, and you realize it's not bad at all.

On Space Mountain, there are no loops, no big drops. It's in the dark, so it seems like it's going faster than it really is. It's actually going about 35mph. Keep in mind that the fastest ride in WDW is Test Track, which is only about 65mph. That's as fast as people generally go on the highway! So anyways, Space Mountain doesn't go that fast but it feels like it does. Plus you go down in spirals and there are sharp turns. The only time you'd ever get that "stomach in your throat" feeling on Space Mountain is when you go up a little and then you suddenly have a little drop. It's like the feelin you get on an airplane when the plane suddenly drops for like a second. But after you go on it a few times, you get used to the feeling. I didn't like it at first either, but now I love it.

Like I said before, it's all in your mind. The ride itself isn't bad, but the anticipation is killer. You just have to get yourself on the ride, because that's the hardest part. But just think of the end result: if you don't choose to go, you'll be regretting it the rest of the time. But if you do choose to go, then it'll be over so fast and you'll probably love it! Then you'll be able to say that you went on Space Mountain, and you can decide whether or not you'll want to ride again. Trust me, you'll want to ride again.

Hope this helps!

Why is the video quality on Android Snapchat so much worse than iOS Snapchat?

Someone touched on this earlier, but the reason why Snapchat is so horrid on Android phones is because Snapchat does not actually use the camera’s image; instead, it simply records the screen of what the viewfinder is seeing. The result of this being that even though many Android phones have superior cameras, they pale in comparison to SnapChat on the Iphone, where Snapchat actually uses the camera in full fledge.I am not sure why Snapchat does this on Android devices, but the issue is less prevalent on newer Android devices. Even still, Snapchat has yet to do full optimization on Android, like it has on Apple devices, new and old. If you have an android that runs anything less than 5.0, you’ll likely have a pretty bad time on Snapchat (again, most likely), even if you have a camera that functions well with the native camera app.So essentially, half of the problem can be solved on your end by buying an Android that comes with 5.0 or greater out of the box. On the other end, Apple users will probably enjoy Snapchat more than even the newer Android phones for about another year or two, then I believe that they will be equal. It should be mentioned that people with say, the Galaxy S7 and the Nexus 6p are not having these issues, and the same can be said for similarly ranked Android devices so it is safe to say that equality on Snapchat is already under way, and now all that is left is to wait a little longer for the other companies to get their share (for example, LG, Blu, Asus, etc.).Basically, pretty soon it wont be just new Samsung devices and all Iphones having a good experience on Snapchat, but Android users under version 5.0 will likely be left in the dust.Edit: I was right, the quality of Snapchat on many Android devices has improved since the publishing of this post. Score: 1 for DanielEDIT 2x: The Google Pixl 2, 2XL and possibly even some Samsung phones no longer have this issue. Score: 2 for Daniel.EDIT 3x: The real crux of the issue though is that for every Android phone has a different native camera app, with the exception of the Google Pixel. So the solution is to either buy a Pixel or an iPhone.

Does lot of exposure to computer screen and laptop screen cause dry eyes or is it age related problem? How should we find a work around for this problem?

I’m not a doctor and have no interest in biology human body stuff, so I’m not gonna get into that. However, what I can get straight to is the workaround. If you want to reduce stress to your eyes while looking at screens, whatever OS on whichever device you’re using, dig around for a blue light reduction feature. In MS Windows 10Press “Start Menu” button + “I” or “i” (same thing) key. This opens settings. Now click on System.Great, now you should see this:flip the switch. Turn it on.It’s on now, but you probably won’t notice anything just yet especially if it’s in the middle of the day. Windows will automatically enable the blue light reduction when it gets dark outside in your given time zone.Notice the (off until 6:45PM), that means it will go on right after that time, because that’s when it starts to get dark where I live. You can also go into night light settings to turn it on at the moment immidiately to try the effect out, adjust its intensity, and decide the hours yourself in “Set hours,” but it’s better to let windows handle it with their “sunset to sunrise.”If you have an older version of windows, get flux. It’s what I used to use before, back when windows 10 didn’t have this feature, and also before I even started using windows 10.Here’s the link to their website: f.luxIt’s a pretty lightweight program, it’ll start on startup, but you don’t have to worry about it hogging any system resources, it is a very clean, purpose built small software.Flux in my opinion is actually better, and has more features than the in-built windows feature, and it’s warmth also feels slightly less distorting to the colors, but right now I’m using the windows 10 in built feature because that’s good enough for me.You can even sync it’s color warmth changes with your phillips hue bulbs!Just make sure you enter your location (nearest city) the first time it asks you, otherwise it’ll keep bugging you on every startup. And finally for y’all android users, as long as your version of android isn’t too old, here ya go I’m gonna offload the effort to this other amazing article from howtogeek:How to Enable a “Night Mode” in Android to Reduce EyestrainFinally, Prevent sitting in front of a screen for too long, and increase the distance between you and the screen! This is why it’s best to get an at least 27″ monitor, and maintain 70–80cm of distance.
