Club-ish Music Question

Can you think of interesting philosophical questions to ask 11-13 -ish year olds?

Hmm. This could be fun. Let’s start with the Trolley Problem:You are overlooking a set of train tracks in a control station. Five people are tied to a train track. There is a train barreling down on them. If you do nothing, the five people will die. If you pull a lever, the train will be diverted to a track that has only one person tied up. They will die. What do you do?A variation of this is called the Fat Man variation:A train is barreling down on five people tied to the tracks. You are standing above them. A heavy object would stop the train. Beside you is a very large man, big enough to stop the train. If you push him on the tracks you will save the five but he will die. What do you do?A few more basic questions you could ask:If you could commit a crime and be assured of not being caught, would you do this? The Pile Problem: If I put one grain of salt on a table we would not call that a pile of salt. How about if I put two grains of salt. Is that a pile? How about three grains of salt? How about ten? 100?This is religiously oriented so may not work in a public school setting: Does God command an action to be morally good, because it is in fact morally good; or is an action morally good because God commands it to be so.

Name that band! (Club Music)?

Hello
I saw a band on Music TV station yesterday that I liked but I can't remember the name of them exactly. It was club music/bassline-ish as the title suggests....

I think it said they're Russian and they used to be around but have only just started re-appearing in the music scene.

Unfortunately the video is the same as most club music.... load of girls prancing about half naked... in a warehouse in army outfits if that helps....

Think it started with an R lol

Rokendo
Renduko

something like that....

Any ideas? :S

P.S. looked at the Music TV website but has no listings....

Thanks anyway

What are the best student organizations or clubs to join at Universitas Gadjah Mada? Why should students join them?

It actually depends on your own interests and at which level do you want to commit yourself within the scope. Student organizations and clubs vary from university to faculty to department level. One type of club does not always exist within every faculty or department, but every department and faculty always has their own student organization. In my case within Faculty of Cultural Sciences, there are 11 bachelor programs and roughly 20-ish clubs. Each has their own Student Majors Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan) and each probably has departments along with the main committee. There are many clubs, such as poetry, sports, performing arts (theatre, music, dance, even kethoprak), writing and journalism, health club, research club, etc. Each faculty also has their own student bodies.University level clubs are called UKM (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa/Student Activity Unit). Most of these clubs are centered at Gelanggang Mahasiswa, where activities are usually held. All clubs are reputable and well-known in their own ways (for more information, you may check Gelanggang Expo’s social media accounts, an event specifically held to promote university level clubs towards freshmen. And then there is the Executive Student Body (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa), the largest student body in university level at UGM.It is your choice whether you want to commit yourself to join a university level performing arts club, or you only want to join student organization within your own major. It doesn’t matter, as long as you can work hard to prioritize and manage yourself as you never forget to study hard in college as well. Good luck!

What is the clubish song played in the movie Mean Girls at Cady's party?

Lanie, would you recognise the song's title?
I have found you a link to the movie's soundtrack listing.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377092/soun...

Maybe you can figure it out by a process of elimination.
If you are unsure of any, remember you could check them on Youtube.

Which club in Amsterdam should I go to?

Hmm.I personally don’t listen to House music or go to clubs - I’m too much of an introvert to actually get my ass of my couch to go clubbing. But I do have friends who enjoy going out and they all love House music. Some nice dance houses where you can enjoy your time in Amsterdam are;Melkweg - (Milky Way) is one of the city's leading entertainment venues with two halls, a cinema, a theatre and a cafe - and a varied live programme. Visit their website for more info. MelkwegWesterUnie - a former gas plant that is now a thriving cultural hotspot. The club regularly hosts techno, house and acid nights and festivals. See website for more info. WesterUnieDe School - used to be a school building in the West of Amsterdam. Now, it’s a House music center with a restaurant and is open 24–7. De School AmsterdamAIR Amsterdam - this might be exactly what you’re looking for. AIR is a house and dance club with impressive VOID systems, state-of-the-art lighting and a mind-boggling LED wall. It’s a popular place for the young House music lovers in Amsterdam. See website for more info. AIR - Night Club Amsterdam

What is the name of the club song in Black Ops 2?

There is a mission where you have to find this blond woman in a club in Black Ops 2 and there is this dance/club/dubstep-ish song playing. It also plays in one of the multiplayer maps modeled after that mission if you're in a certain room. I would love to know the name of the song if anyone knows.

What are the best bars in Boise, ID?

Modern Hotel and Bar. Classic and invented cocktails, perfectly made. Red Feather has some good and clever drinks, but I don't personally care for the club-ish atmosphere there. Modern is a great mid-sized bar in front of Super 8 turned boutique hotel. Modern also has a somewhat older crowd. College students mix in with professionals. I've personally spotted filmmaker Michael Hoffman and city councilman Ben Quintana, in addition to young local actors and musicians. A much better atmosphere than the college grinder between 10th and 5th downtown.
