Cod Ghosts. What Setting Will I Be Able To Run At 50 Fps

Can I run GTA V on my laptop which can run COD Ghosts pretty well?

As you've already stated, your build has managed to get good-enough performance for certain games. (The problem, with Grand Theft Auto IV, was it's optimization, which compared to many other PC Games from Rockstar, is/was quite terrible.)Moving onto Grand Theft Auto V, it's quite the opposite scenario. Rockstar managed to pull off one of the hardest(or rarest) tasks, which a Developer could do - Make a graphically vivid game, and make it playable for everyone. (*cough 'Bugcreed Unity' *cough)The game is well optimized, and you'll be able to yield 30-45 FPS with settings cranked up to Medium (except AA) with a 720p output. Lags might occur (the HD 6470's to blame for this), but constant updating of the game would help a lot.(PS - Buying the game, instead of pirating it, is a decision, worth the money.)

Will my laptop be able to run Call of Duty games?

I have a cheap HP Stream Notebook 14 that I bought from Microsoft. It has an AMD A4 6400T 1 GHz Processor (it sucks tbh but I'm getting a better one soon) and an AMD Radeon R3 graphics card. I was wondering, will the laptop be able to run Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 2 and World at War? I mostly want World at War since you can download custom zombies maps off the internet? I'd greatly appreciate some help. Thanks

Is a laptop with GTX 1050 good enough for gaming?

You can consider GTX 1050 good enough if you are playing your games at low or medium settings. You can get around 40–50 FPS at medium (more FPS at low), it all depends on the game you are playing on your laptop.Older games (<2015–16) will give you an excellent performance but newer games (2017) like Mass Effect: Andromeda, Resident Evil 7, Ghost Recon: Wildlands will run near 30 FPS. Some newer games might be optimized to give a better performance but overall the performance will not be satisfying if you are a hardcore gamer. You can refer to this link for the benchmark details:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (Notebook)If you are just a casual gamer, this GPU will be good for you, but i would recommend upgrading to a GTX 1060 if it doesn’t exceed your budget. If you want i can suggest you some laptops as well.Hope this helps.

What games can run on high graphics or medium at 30-40 fps on a GT 1030?

So I don’t have any hard data on what games it will/ what games it won’t, mostly because I pretty well understand what its for….. I will agree with Daniel Kaye that it can plausibly run a lot of games depending on the chosen resolution and setting.BUT…. I’d be more willing to agree with Thomas Pogorzelski with it. This card isn’t designed for gaming, its meant to replace on-board graphics. It works if your need is lots of cores/ lots of threads/ lots of memory (you need enthusiast-grade CPU’s that tend to lack on-board graphics, but your workload doesn’t benefit from a graphics card anyway)Think about it, a $75 card (US Prices as of this answer, generalized price range) that is only a single slot and can fit in most cases on the market, or a $120 card (GTX 1050, US Price as of this answer) that’s a dual-slot card. For side reference: Nvidia quietly launches the GeForce GT 1030, a Radeon RX 550 rival with a modest price. If you go through it, you’ll that indeed it is meant for esports, but its also meant to replace on-board graphics, especially for HTPC’s where you may not want to spend the money on a larger card JUST to watch Netflix. So, My bet would be any game 5 years old you may be able to get away with, any current esport title you might be able to at medium, but that may be it.
