Coin Stamping Machine Japan

Are there any coin-exchange machines in Tokyo, Japan?

1. I have hundreds of Japanese coins (From 1 yens to 500 yens) but I don't have any bank accounts in Japan 'cause I'm not a resident in Japan. Are there any coin changers(coin-exchange machines) in Tokyo?

2. My friend told me that if you put 10 pieces of 100 Yen coins into a Suica/Pasmo charging machine at a JR/Metro station and then you push the cancel button, you will get a 1,000 Yen bill in return instead of the coins. Is this true?

Is Pigment (stamp) Ink Bad For Self Tattooing?

unless your allergic to something in the ink, the ink wont make you sick. Hundreds of thousands of people have giving themselves crappy tattoos at home with primitive methods and they're fine...except for a bad tattoo that fades fast and never looked good in the first place...just keep it clean, like any wound.

Do Australians feel that coins are becoming an inconvenience to keep and carry around?

Not at all. Shrapnel finds its way behind couches, under seats, in the car, in the washing machine, as well as many other places. Hungry? Go clean your couch, seat, car and head to Maccas or the bakery for some tukka. (99% of bakeries i’ve been to don't have EFTPOS)I can't speak for regional towns but I live on the outskirts of my town/city Ipswich and a reasonable amount of shops still only use cash so it's safe to assume they will have a higher amount of shops/services that use cash only.Lets say you go to the barber (again most I know of only do cash but they're traditional men's barbers) and get a haircut. It ends up being $11 or so dollars. You pay em a $10 and $5 note, they then give you $4 change in 2 $2 coins, 4 $1 coins or an assortment of $c. I don't know about you, but I (and just about everyone I know) would much rather have a couple of coins than a 4 $1 bank notes.Any spare shrapnel you can give to your kid(s) as pocket money for doing work around the house, or put them in a donation box.The Mint (responsible for printing, stamping, $notes and coins regularly has ‘special, event’ coins. For e.g. They stamped coins which had a 100 Anniversary marking the 100 year anniversary of the ANZAC’s landing at Gallipoli.Yes the 50c coins get heavy in a wallet, purse, handbag when you get a few of them, but if you use cash often enough you spend em fast enough.I guess in the day of electronic transactions and cards people start finding them obselete, but they will always have a place in our society for an abundant of reasons.

What is the best printer to make counterfeit money?

Ok… I’ll bite… By no means is this a recommendation, a guide or to be taken too seriously… well too seriously except for the inherent “Just don’t!” lesson. We had a customer who purchased some of our waste kits for use with a few Epson printers. They purchased in bulk but didn’t ask for a discount (which was odd but no red flags). The printers in question were nothing special… four colour inkjet, pigment ink type printers. A4/Letter size and capable of printing at a modest click but you’d need to keep them fed.Turns out they had something else that helped with the metal strip in the paper which may have been their downfall… Either way we found out they’d been using this lot to push out millions of pounds in quite believable counterfeit currency. Now, I have to take the phone call, and subsequent interview I had with the detective, with a pinch of salt as I wouldn’t be surprised if aspects of the case weren’t deliberately tweaked to put me off a similar career change… but the short version was they were caught…Not because of the quality of the printing though… They had to buy stuff, stuff that only makes sense when used in certain situations/business-scenarios… or when you’re counterfeiting……not, it turns out… when you have a farm. So, it’s not really a technical question and more a case of how many years in prison do you want to “spend”?… Spend? Get-it? No? Good!… Get a job, it’s safer.

Why did Australia and New Zealand choose to name their decimal currencies as Dollars and not Pounds?

The critical decision was not to call the new decimal currency the pound. The pound was an option: Cyprus already had a decimalised pound, for example. But that option wasn’t taken. As indeed it wasn’t taken in the other dominions. Canada, for example, went decimal and dollar in 1858. Decimal because My God, do you really want shillings and pence? And Dollar, because they’re next door to Dollarland. Her Imperial Majesty wished her loyal dominion of Canada not to use the same name as Dollarland, and tried to make Canada call them royals instead. Which is a translation of the Spanish real, and which is also a suitably Imperial name for a currency.Did not happen. Overruled by the otherwise loyal dominion’s legislature itself. At the time Australian decimalisation was put forward, and the option of the pound wasn’t taken, Australia was in the torpor of 17 years of rule by arch monarchist Robert Menzies. Menzies thought that Canadian royal thing was an excellent idea, and wished to see it emulated. We sneer now, we unruly latte-sipping Australian elites, at how forelock-tugging our antecedents were back then. But when Menzies’ successor Harold Holt tried to implement the royal, he got death threats. He backed down, and went with what Canada had gone with: the dollar. Shortly thereafter, so did New Zealand.
