How to sing high? Can I make falsetto sound loud like normal singing?
You need to learn correct vocal technique if you want to sing high notes well (without killing your vocal cords). Learning vocal cord closure and vocal compression will allow you to "climb" in your range without experiencing breaks or flips in your voice. I've written some stuff about it already. How does singing affect Narcolepsy/Cataplexy?
You're asking for too much. It's not that complicated because we are all different, even narcoleptics. The condition does not affect all narcoleptics the same, some will be more sensitive to triggers than others, some can laugh without an attack, while others can have one just by smiling or feeling emotion. What I'm saying is there's no need to try and get the facts right, because there is no right or wrong with cataplexy, it's different for all. So go ahead and customize the details however you wish, there is no wrong answer. Singing could trigger an attack if they feel a lot of emotion during the singing, again, it's up to the degree of cataplexy the individual has. I have narcolepsy without cataplexy, but I have had a couple of minor cataplectic attacks, but they are rare. Nothing in particular seemed to trigger them, I'd just be sitting and having a normal conversation with my boyfriend and I don't recall ever feeling any type of emotion. What does singing without "MR" mean?
Well, I'm not exactly sure how to explain it. On the audition sheet, it says that that I have to prepare a one-minute singing audition without MR. Here's exactly what it says: "Singing-Audition (Without MR)" Any ideas what ir could possibly mean? It's a JYPE Ent. audition by the way.
How to sing like Hayley Williams?
OK hi! I love bands and i would really like to join one someday. I think my voice sounds good enough to sing in a band but I don't know how to hive it that 'alternative sound'. I know i can't sing like her i just wanted to grab your attention. I can't afford a vocal coach because they are really expensive. Will I be able to sing high notes if I have a 'very' deep voice?
Lots of people in this question will say that you just extend your range…boom. But no, it doesn't just work like that, at this point I'm going to assume you are a male, and likewise have a male voice part, if I'm wrong about this don't read any further (the same comments above assume you are male)As a baritone, I can hardly sing above a middle C (C4) comfortably, yet at the same time, I can sing an E6 and possibly above (I haven't FULLY tested my falsetto yet), along with that, I can sing down to a F2.The only way you are going to be able to hit higher is to of strain/press the note, it doesnt sound too good, but it gets the job done (that is unless you can hit the note in a low falsetto, in which case do that as it sounds a lot better (I know from experience))You really just need to fully test your voice and see if there is a way you can sing that will let you hit those notes. The male voice does not offer that many ways to extend your voice, but it does give your voice certain characteristics that you can exploit to let you get things done.
