Is it a logical fallacy that complete perfection can at the same time be imperfection?

No, because perfection has no empirical meaning, and so can mean entirely different things to different people.Suppose you toss a coin in many series of 100 tosses each. You continue until you’ve achieved the perfect series. What is that? All heads? All tails? Half heads, half tails? The latter, but in precisely alternating heads and tails?Whatever you find perfect, it’s perfectly certain your neighbors won’t agree, and the universe won’t care.

What is the logic of the series 3, 3, 4, 8, 10, 30, 33?

Check this out:3 - the starting number, multiply it by 1 to get the next number: 33 - the second number, add 1 to it to get the next number: 44 - the third number, multiply it by 2 to get the next number: 88 - the fourth number, add 2 to it to get the next number: 1010 - the fifth number, multiply it by 3 to get the next number: 3030 - the sixth number, add 3 to it to get the next number: 3333 - the seventh number, for the next number (which isn’t shown) multiply it by 4 to get the next number: 132The pattern here is to multiply every other number, starting with the first number; and to add onto every other number, starting with the second number. What to multiply/add increments by one the further we go along. There is likely a formula or name for this, but I have no idea what it is. Yet somehow I managed to see the pattern.

Which of the following number will replace the (?) mark and complete the series – 60, 20, 50, 30, 40, 40, 30, 50?

This is a simple one !60–20=4020–50=-3050–30=2030–40=-1040–40=040–30=1030–50=-20So,50-x=30Therefore,x=20The logic is that beginning from 40,the difference is first decreasing upto 0 and then starts increasing again with the numbers arranged in a way such that they follow the above pattern with the alternate numbers having a negative value.

Logical reasoning test-completing patterns. Please Help Me...?

i am doing a test with logical reasoning as the main topic and the past exams questions have heaps of complete alphabetical order style questions. While i was practising for it i cam across some questions i didnt know how to solve. Can you guys please try and if you get the answer explain to me HOW? Thanks in advance!!

23) What is the missing letter in this series:
m o n n o m p ?
24) What is the missing letter in this series:
c d c d d d e d e ?

26) What is the missing letter in this series:
b c e g k ? q s
27) What is the missing letter in this series:
m n n o o ? p p p

Which letter logically follows T,Q,N,K,H?

E

goes backwards 3 letters

What is the missing number in the logical series: 12,28,75,316,1555 ?

12,28,75,316,1555,9366.

12*2+4=28

28*3-9=75

75*4+16=316

316*5-25=1555

1555*6+36=9366

What is the logic of this number series: 3,2,1,4,5,4,5,10,6,3? How can I get the answer?

I think the original question is 3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 4, 5, 1, 0, 6, 3, ? and we are required to find last digit. So, it's not 10 in between, it's 1, 0.This series has following pattern:(3, 2, 1), (4, 5, 4), (5, 1, 0), (6, 3, ?).Here obviously the missing digit is 2.Logic: The first digit in every parenthesis (3, 4, 5, 6) are increasing by 1. The second digit in parenthesis are (2, 5, 1, 3). Here every digit is one more than two times of preceding digit - Only unit place digit is taken. For example, (2*2+1 = 5), (5*2+1 = 11, so 1 is taken), (1*2+1 = 3). Last digit in every parenthesis is one less than the second digit.Edit 1: Logic is added.

Which number logically follows this series: 4-6-9-6-14-6?

Answer is 19. The second number is always six. The numbers either side increase by five each time. Hence 4, 6, 9(4 + 5), 6, 14(9 + 5), 6, 19(14 +5)

Complete the sequence: 2, 3, 3, 5, 10, 13, 39, 43, 172, 177, ____.?

Seems simple enough when you look at the numbers

The first number is 2 and the operator you are starting with is 1

So 2 + 1 = 3 which is your second number ... then the number you got from adding 1 to your first number is multiplied by the same number you added to it. For eg your first 2 steps are
2+1 = 3 and then 3*1 = 3 (which is your third number in the sequence)

4th number in the sequence again requires an addition operator while increasing the number by 1
So 3 + 2 = 5 (sequence number 4) then the new number is multiplied by 2 = 10 (sequence number 5)
Then you take 10 and add 3 to it - 10+3 = 13 (sequence number 6) then take 13 * 3 = 39... and so on.

Overall the pattern is
If the starting number in the series is n and the operator is x
n, n+ x (in this case 1), (n+x) * x, ((n+x)*x)+ (x+1), ((n+x)*x)+ (x+1) * (x+1) ....

Or

First number, first number + 1(second number), second number *1 (third number, third number + 2 (fourth number), Fourth number * 2 (fifth number) and so on

So the answer ends up being - 177 * 5 = 885
