Composite Act Score Of 19 And I Didn

If I got an ACT composite score of 35 but a writing score of 30, should I take it again?

You do not necessarily have to take it again. A 35 is a very good score. The only reason you would want to retake is if you are planning on applying to an Ivy League writing program. For more information on applying to schools visit The GradTrain Blog.

My ACT score didn't come in yet?

They were supposed to come in today (November 13th) and many of my friend's scores came in too. For some reason mine haven't and it is still under "Registered" and not "Tested" I'm really nervous that something went wrong. I don't know, help me out?!

IS as 26 a good score on the ACT?

Im a highschool junior and i just took the ACT for the first time, is a 26 a good score? I goofed off my freshman year and Ive been digging myself out of an academic hole for like forever, my overall gpa will probably be over 3.0 at the end of the year. My school also has a tougher grading policy in which a 93 and not a 90 is an A. I didnt really understand the science portion of the ACT, and I didn't attend any ACT prep classes. What kind of improvement can I reasonably expect to see in the next time i take it, and what kind of colleges should I be looking into. I want to go to a reasonably good college, not harvard, but not a community college, I want to be a lawyer.

Is a score of 18 on an ACT score good?

An ACT score of 18 is very good for a 14 year-old. You have a lot of growing and learning to do before you graduate and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised when you take it again with a little more knowledge under your belt.

You probably have little or no Algebra knowledge at this time so you still have a lot to learn.

I believe the national average is 20-22. College admission requirements vary by institution but you should be able to access that information on each of the institutions' respective websites.

Do not get discouraged. Hang in there; keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine. ;)

Is a 25 a good ACT score?

I believe it is! 25 is in the 82% percentile in the USA, meaning only 18% of high school students who took the test did better!

Maybe I am not asking if it is a good score, rather, could I get accepted to many State Universities in Florida or Illinois, those are the only 2 states I am considering for college!!!

Like, could I get accepted into Central Florida U , North Florida U, Northern or Southern Illinois, and/ or Florida State U!

I will release my GPA later!

With these schools, what GPA is necessary to get accepted to these schools?

THANKS for all the helP!!!

I got a 19 as my first ACT score. How should I improve it?

I took my ACT for the first time 2 weeks ago, and I just got my scores back. I got a composite score of 19. I did alright in english and math, but I didn't do so hot in reading and science. The main problem I had was that the teacher would say "10 minutes left", than I'd rush and most likely guess on the last few questions. What should I do to improve it? I didn't know ANYTHING on the science section, so I know I need to work on that stuff.

Low ACT scores, am i dumb?

I've been doubting myself lately. In school, im told to be extremely intelligent, sometimes teachers ask me to explain things and i help out others who dont understand the topic. I have a 3.9 GPA in high school without much effort. i excel in science classes..I take Honors and AP classes and sleep through them and i still get an "A" cumulative for the class.

now its summer vacation and i got my act scores. A composite score of a 20! Im in the top of my class and i get this grade! My friends and even the lower GPA's get higher than that!

I honestly accepting the fact that i am dumb and wont be able to handle college.

p.s..on the ACT's, time was my biggest problem but im sure if i have all the time i need i would get a higher score. But i cannot read quick enough and comprehend, and hence why i think i am a stupid "SLOW" thinker...

any advice? prep classes i took, nope..they dont work

What's my "real" ACT score?

Your real score will likely be a 14-15, because real ones comes out a little lower than practice ones.

You may want to consider getting some tutoring before you try the real one.
