Computer Display Coming After Many Restart Help

Why does my computer take so long to start up?

I will divide this answer in two parts. If you will not format your PC for a longtime then surely you gonna face some slowedown issue. This is because users always install something small or big apps and that tends slow down PC start up. Some of the apps that cause slowdowns are : Steam, Garena, Adobe updater (AAM updater), Antivirus, there are some viruses which cant see in task manager but consumes your CPU alot, Chrome apps.I know many people will not agree with my second point but truth is truth. Kaspersky is the worst thing you can have on your PC. Never ever installany antivirus on your PC ( Specially- McAfee, Avast, Kaspersky, Quickheal, Norton). Antivirus destroy your PC. If you know basic of using a PC then you will never need any antivirus. You just need one software and that is Microsoft Security Essential on windows 7 and Windows defender on Windows 10(Comes pre intsalled). Thats it. I REPEAT, DO NOT INSTALL ANY ANTIVIRUS . DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER IT HARMS YOUR PC OR NOT JUST DON'T INSTALL.PLEASE.HOW YOU GONNA SPEEDUP?The only possible answer here is to format you PC. Also, try uninstalling some apps and games that are not important for you. Remove useless chrome and firefox extension. You might see some difference.THANK YOU.

Computer restarts error codes?

If you can get the actual error code 0x00...etc. and search for it on www.microsoft.com they usually have fixes for the most common causes. Granted you may need to use someone else's PC to surf the web, but that's a start.

How come after using omegle my computer blue screened?

Hi Ceonia,

The issue seems to be related to software. However, to be sure, I would suggest running the hardware diagnostics. Check the link below for steps:

http://dell.to/MDUD2W

Post the complete error message that you get. If the blue screen disappears too quickly for you to note the error, disable the Automatic Restart on System Failure. Check the following link to know how to do that:

Also, check the reliability monitor and event viewer to know the cause of the error. Check these links for more information:

How to use Reliability Monitor: http://bit.ly/X6BeQo

Event Viewer: http://bit.ly/YyS88r

Updating the drivers might also help. You may download and install the latest version from the link below:

On the link, enter the system Service Tag and click on ‘Continue’. Select the operating system and it will display a list of available downloads.

Hope this helps.

My computer monitor occasionally displays horizontal lines. Please tell me a solution to this problem.?

I would like to show a screenshot but i cannot so i will do my best to describe the problem. Black horizontal lines start appearing on my screen occasionally. Once i restart my computer, these lines go away. However, after a few days, the problem occurs again. Strangely, this problem did not occur for two weeks so i thought the problem had vanished. sadly, it happened again today. A video of the problem can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjpCqyOaml0&fmt=18 This is not a video of my computer but the computer in the video has the same problem. although the video states a solution its very general and i would like to know other ways of solving this problem.

Why is my computer screen off center at start??

Easy believe it or not

When you start the bios drives the monitor, when windows loads its driver it is a different refresh and resolution

Your monitor has digital controls and should remember the size, position and so on for the different resolutions, it seems to be remembering the Windows settings OK

Now when you start your computer press the pause button and see if that will hold you on the splash screen, if it does use the controls on your monitor to size and center the screen

If it did not stop the booting, restart it again and hit the F2 just get to your bios setup, that page will stay there, then set the size and centering exit the setup and just reboot, should be good then

This won't affect your windows settings

Have you ever changed the resolution or refresh rate in windows and had to set your monitor to get the screen centered or sized , same thing your doing here, you just need the computer to stay on the splash screen while you set it

You know is that an LCD screen, it kinda looks like it in the picture, if it is does it have an "auto adjust" most do, just hit that as soon as the Dell logo comes on, if the "auto" does not lock it you will have to do it manually (back to the above way)

Again that won't affect your windows settings

Why does my computer screen turn green? How can I fix it?

If it’s hardware, several possibilities spring to mind:loose wire in the VGA cableloose/bent pin in the VGA connectorweak red or blue emitter gun (applicable to Trinitron tubes and the like)loss of the sync signal (on the green-gun wire)I’d start diagnosis by wiggling the cable at various points.

My computer monitor screen is like super blown up and it's very hard to use how do I fix this?

It sounds like your computer is in what is called "safe mode." When you install a new software application or add drivers for some new hardware, sometimes the computer will start itself in safe mode. Safe mode is a special way for Windows to load when there is a system-critical problem that interferes with the normal operation of Windows. The purpose of safe mode is to allow you to troubleshoot Windows and try to determine what is causing it to not function correctly. Once you have corrected the problem, then you can reboot and Windows will load normally. You probably will not have to do anything too difficult to fix this. Just restart your computer and press f8 before windows comes up. Then, when you get to the black screen with a few options there, choose "normal mode" and it should be fixed.
