My computer screen is white?
Suddenly my computer screen turned white. I can still navigate my cursor. I tried restarting but it s still white. I knew that when I restart I would need to enter my password, so I did. The cursor showed that it loaded for a bit. The screen dimmed then went back to normal, asit should when I login. But it still remains white. I tried unplugging and replugging. What should I do? I use a Windows 10 HP computer.

Things which effect just the screen brightness are: Brightness, contrast, and gamma. Remember these settings are primarily adjusted on your monitor, not within the operating system. Regarding the "blurry": - If adjusting the brightness level, you can then consider modifying your screen resolution --right click screen and then personalize (or settings). - You can enable "Font Smoothing" (see link bellow) - Lastly, if your child got into the video card settings, you can reset that and start fresh. You would need to look up how to do that in your user manual or the video card manufacturers website. (Optionally, you could post that information in a new thread and likely get step by step instructions also =)

I have previously faced a problem just like yours and I two cases can be there for your problem.First is the BIOS configuration may have corrupted in which I would suggest you to take your computer to its service centre, as playing with BIOS settings will only mess your computer rather than solving (if you are not an expert).Secondly, the power supply in your CPU (SMPS) would be having some problem, in that case take your CPU to a repair show, he will check the SMPS of your CPU and if needed then you can have it replaced which will take your PC back to normal. When there is problem in SMPS then your CPU doesn't get proper power supply and a lot of tasks start getting hanged up. In that case you have to replace your SMPS.I hope this helps.
Laptop computer screen turns blue with white writing and restarts itself?
I am not sure what the heck is happening with it, but the other day it suddenly just turned blue and has white writing on the screen. I can't tell what it says - it looks like its scrolling fast but not sure - I had Kapersky 2008 on my computer and it expired so I went to upgrade to Kapersky 2009 however it didnt take, because it shut down, so I dont think its a compatibility issue. What can I do? I can't even get on there to d/l the newer version of Kapersky because of this and I am scared that the computer will get infected. I did try the system restore and it seemed to work for about an hour but then back to blue screen.
My Mac is not turning on, but it gets to the white screen?
So my mac book has been really slow lately, so Im using another one right now. I thought it was slow because I dropped it once, but the fact that it turned slower and slower made me think that it might be because the memory space left is low. So I was downloading a couple of episodes of a series and suddenly it said "Disk Read Error" when i was downloading it (This was from my downloading app not the mac itself) I searched it up and that meant there is low memory usually. Then my laptop froze most likely due to me adding more stuff, so I forced shutdown. Now when I turn it on, it says "You shutdown your computer because of a problem, click open if you want to reopen the windows, if you do nothing, the computer will continue logging on in 1 minute". If I click no, open or just leave it it goes to the white loading screen, then the spinny wheel comes for a bit then it asks me the same question. This is a cycle that hasn't ended now. I don't know what to do. I want to get on so I can delete a lot of my movies etc.
What makes my computer screen go "white" and lock up?
When I'm not using my PC, I turn off the monitor and leave the tower on. This last week, 3 times, when going to use it, the screen was completely white and the system was locked. I had to unplug it. Once, a msg came on that it was looking to repair the "start-up" system and may take an hour. After about a half hour, I canceled it and the system operated fine. Ideas?
