Fire Emblem Awakening: Newcomer or Classic?

I love the Persona series for its characterisation, so I've been comparing the two and I ask myself: if social links in Persona didn't have their limitations (such as you requiring intellect, diligence, bravery, or high levels of charisma to be able to talk to certain characters) there would be no fun; no challenge to bother with the social links in the first place. Maybe Fire Emblem's way of providing you with that challenge is through making all of your actions permanent.

How do I breakup with my girlfriend without telling her the honest reason?

Certainly what you want to do with your own life is your decision but am I understanding you correctly that you say you have been in a relationship with this woman 3 month, and you find out that previously she was in a relationship for a yr and had sex with her ex, and you want to break up with her?!?!  This is in her past right?  She didn't just have an affair with him while you've been together the last 3 months, right?  Are you and her sexually intimate now?  Again, you can do as you want with your life but to expect anyone you met to not have a past or to be virgin is going to be a rough road for you, one which will get increasing harder as you get older.  I don't understand why her past bothers you so much, whether or not you and her are sexual with each other now.  Also you are not responsibile for how she deals with the break up, yes you should be as kind as possible and yes you should tell her the truth, rather than lie but either of those things say a lot more about you than her.   You may want your first time to be with someone who is equality was inexperienced as yourself and you may be bothered by the fact that she has more sexual experience than you, has had at least one other relationship and is not a virgin.  Obviously, bothered enough that you want to break things off, are okay taking a life path that only allows you to have relationships with non experienced woman, and perhaps a little embarassed about this.  However, telling the truth is aways better than lying and in general you may be doing her a favor if all these things bother you and you are unwilling to adjust your core self.  People break up all the time and you are not responsible how she deals with it, nor how she develops a trusting relationship in future and is honest to future partners.  All you can do is decide if you want to break up, tell her that, try to be kind and be honest.

Playstation 3 vs XBOX 360, which is better?

You will have conflicting opinions about this constantly.
Personally, I like the 360. Then again, I've never played a PS3.
I have researched them enough to know the pros and cons of each system, so I'll list the pro that I know of for each system...

Xbox:
Price is lower(about a hundred bucks),
Displays in full 1080p,
More games(the Halo series, the Gears of War series, Forza and PGR games, etc.),
More technical support,
Better FPS titles,
Better racing titles,
Kinect(totally awesome, totally peripheral-free),
Better online gaming(servers are maintained a lot better--less lag),
Better online community(more moderation, so people are a bit more 'decent'--also, modifications are banned from Xbox Live),
Better online 'store'(more arcade games, more downloads, more avatar stuff).

PS3:
Free online gaming(you get what you pay for),
Better RPGs(I'm not a fan--one reason I chose to get another Xbox after my old one broke),
Move(glorified Wii with lights),
Better graphics(though only displayed in 720p, from what I've heard),
More intuitive controller(for smaller hands, especially),
Six-Axxis(few games use it, but it means moving your controller can have effects in-game),
Plays Blu-Ray,
Uses BlueTooth,
Supports 3d tv's(only on certain games or movies, from what I hear).

I've heard that the Xbox is a lot better for gaming, while the PS3 is better for playing media, like movies and music.

As far as PS and DS go, PSP has much better graphics and a stronger processor, while the DS has a unique control aspect. Also, the 3DS has 3d, so that's kinda cool.
I've never played a PSP and I've only played a DS briefly(I'm not a handheld game person), so I can't give a detailed difference other that what's been shown to me.

EDIT: Contrary to other answers, they're not the same price, unless you get the 250GB hard drive on the 360, in which case it's the same price as a 160GB PS3.
Though the Xbox does NOT come with an HDMI cable, I don't believe the PS3 does either.

The Xbox's 'refurbished' price(the lowest price at Gamestop) is $129.99.
The PS3's 'refurbished' price is $229.99.
The refurbished PS3 does come with 40GB of hard drive space, while the refurbished 360 doesn't have any memory.

Why do so many startups fail?

There are many different reasons why startups or companies in general fail. In my experience, however, I think there is no one single cause, but a constellation of mistakes or misfortunes that once combined can be fatal. Common causes include: -  hiring! having the right people on board is key, a wrong hire can ruin a company; - cash! many entrepreneurs fail to anticipate or generally underestimate the cash requirements of their business; - infrastructure! here I am referring to execution infrastructure which may be as basic as billing system, IT, policies etc. I my experience, most startups neglect this areas as they focus principally on bringing their products to market and hope to figure-out the rest later; - product! sometimes great product simply fail the test of simplicity and consumers or customers simply walk away; avoid complexity in product design;- governance! another aspect commonly ignored by startups. Co-founers, board and advisers are key to the success of any venture. Choose wisely. - leadership! another key success or failure factor is the leader; management style is important. How do you treat your employees? how do you communicate, motivate and chart the course?- customers! most startups create products without a market or a problem to solve, and then spend valuable time and resources looking for the problem. Listening to the needs of the customer / market is very important. In today's 'Lean Startup', it is possible to come to market quickly with simple Minimum Viable Product, and study what works, and what does not, obtain feedback and iterate like mad..
