I am bit confused between VW polo comfort line petrol and Maruti suzuki swift VXI on the basis of mileage and maintenance. Which one is better?
Maruti’s car are best known for their low maintenance and high mileage. So I would suggest you to go for Maruti Suzuki Swift.If we look in case of build quality of both the cars then form build quality point of view I would suggest you to go for Polo. I want to buy a CNG Wagon R. I have to run 6000 km/month as a requirement. I have doubts about its engine life. I cannot afford to change it in the next 3 years. How long can it be run with proper care?
My best friend have wagon-r and i travel with him a lot. So i am qualified for this answer.I would say don't get a CNG. Ofcourse you get a great milage of 23-26kmpl approx. But to get this advantage you will lose boot space, power, and engine life. There won't be any boot space as cng cylinder takes whole space. Car becomes powerless and with a/c it becomes worse. My friend have done its maintenance at time always and his car is going to complete 5 years and it has starting giving up now (get off sometimes). So if you want to sell it in 5yrs then you can have it.Since you just specified this car so i think you need car between 4-5 lakhs.I will say thay go for MS celerio diesel its much better option. U can also get a 2nd hand diesel Ms swift , hyundai grand i10 or honda brio (2-3yrs old)U can get them for 4 lakhs easily and they will run for 7-8 yrs( after deducting yrs which has been used)
Which should I buy between Swift and Celerio?
If you have narrow down your selection to two cars, then I would suggest to go with Swift. It's a tried and tested car, safe (compared to Celario), has pretty decent mileage. Swift would be a perfect 5 person car compared to Celario, in which it would be difficult for the 5th person to adjust. Also wait for a limited edition Swift SP which is coming shortly, having all VXi & some ZXi features. You would have the advantage of getting all goodies in less price. Pls check for the same with the dealership.
