Confused Between The Tablet And A Digital Camera

What is the difference between a optical mouse and wireless mouse?

Those are different technologies.

A wired (old school) mouse it physically connected to the computer.

A wireless mouse talks to a receiver that catches a radio wave from the mouse that tells the computer how it has moved, buttons pressed whatever.

A mechanical mouse it the old school kind that had a ball on it that turned axes and the computer determined where it was going based on how much the vertical roller moved and how much the horizontal roller moved. These touched the surface and collected dirt.

An optical mouse has a small scanner or camera that see's how it's moving. If you were in a car with a glass floor and never looked up, you'd still know which way you were going; same concept.

You can have a wired optical mouse, or a wireless one; a wired mechanical mouse, or a wireless one (rare nowadays.)

The cables you refer to in the second part of your question are color coded nowadays. Green is for your mouse and purple (rarely orange) round cables are called ps/2. The rectangular type is called USB. Unless you're using a USB connector, you just need to match the color when connecting almost anything on your computer

Which is better as my tablet - a Kindle or an iPad Pro?

I assume that by “Kindle” you mean “Fire,” not the Kindle e-ink reader. (Amazon really should have known better than to name its first few generations of the tablet the “Kindle Fire,” because it just made everyone confused.)Your question is a lot like asking what’s better as a fruit: an apple or an orange. They’re both good for different uses.An iPad is good if you’re doing things like professionally producing content, that need a high-resolution screen and a lot of processing power.A Fire (or Fire HD) is perfectly adequate if you mainly want to consume media and do Internet/social media stuff, and want a tablet you don’t have to worry about being out a lot of money by accidentally losing or trashing.Which one of those is “better” as your tablet depends on what your needs are. If your needs can be satisfied by an $80 Fire HD, there’s no real point in blowing multiple hundreds of bucks on a very fancy, very nice-looking, very expensive tablet you don’t actually need.

What is a touch screen digitizer?

I've noticed that there is A LOT of confusion surrounding the cell phone replacement part called a 'digitizer' or sometimes called 'LCD digitizer'.  So, what exactly is a digitizer or LCD digitizer?  Well, hopefully to end most of the confusion, it IS NOT an LCD.  The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is like a super thin and fragile computer monitor, it's the source of the image displayed on your phone.  The digitizer by definition is a device used to convert analog signals into digitial signals.  In the case of our cell phones, this device would be the glass that covers the LCD.  Yes, the glass piece that is attached to the LCD is the digitizer... or sometimes called LCD digitizer.  It converts your actions (press, swipe, etc) into a digital signal that your phone understands.  The data from the digitizer (glass) is transferred to the phone by the attached digitizer flex cable or digitizer flex ribbon, that should be included in your purchase of a replacement LCD digitizer.  It's pretty difficult to preserve the integrity of the flex cable when there is a digitizer replacement performed.  So, when we have an LCD assembly, minus small parts and frames, we're looking at 3 major components... 1) the digitizer (front glass), 2) the digitizer flex cable (should be attached to the glass) and 3) the LCD display unit.  All 3 of these components can be purchased separately or all together.  Although, I wouldn't recommend to anyone that they purchase the digitizer without the digitizer flex cable.  Mounting the flex cable can be tricky with some phones and if not done correctly will give you poor functionality of your touch screen LCD.

What is the green dot next to the phone icon on messenger?

No, it just means that the person is available to take a call. For example, I have the messenger app on Windows and the green dot appears next to the phone icon when that person is online. It is not there for an offline person. Normally, when you want to call someone and they are in another call, it would give you a notification to call back later. In a sense, it is kind of ambiguous, as it definitely confirms the online status but in terms of call availability, it can depend.Just an example photo.

How many characters can fit in 1GB?

I have this word problem that I'm really confuse on. Its says:

There are 10 different characters, and each character is 4 bits. How many characters can fit in 1GB Flash Drive?

Well I know that ...
1 character = 4 bits
4 bits = 1 nybble
2 nybbles = 1 byte
1024 bytes = 1 kilobyte
1024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte
1024 megabyte = 1 GB

These might be wrong, but please help me solve this problem. Please show step-by-step so I can understand.
