Why do Westerners settle down or marry when they can live a fun lifestyle? If Westerners can easily get a lot of sexual partners one after the other, why do they settle down permanently by marrying or cohabiting?

Hollywood has almost certainly given you an incorrect impression of the mating habits of Westerners. The reality is much more sedate and a bit more conservative.Most Westerners don’t want lots of sexual partners one after the other. Many toy briefly with the idea in their late teens and early twenties. This results in most quickly realizing that a. hook-ups aren’t usually that great and b. they are not as easy to find as Hollywood would have you believe, especially once you’re out of college - at least in the straight community. The charm of visiting noisy, crowded bars looking for sex partners tends to wear off within a few years.What happens once this realization occurs can vary pretty widely. Many people, straight and gay, become involved in what I’d call “serial monogamy.” They date someone exclusively for a period of time. Perhaps they’ll move in together. In most (though not all) cases, they’ll eventually choose to either marry or break up. If they break up, they will probably find another partner to date exclusively, and the pattern will repeat itself. If they get married, they’ll probably (though not always) choose to have children. If they choose not to they will face social pressure from friends and family.Some people get involved in more exotic arrangements, like Franklin Veaux. Some people choose not to have relationships at all, or simply never find anyone they’re compatible with. Some people get involved in unhealthy relationships. Some people do choose to continue having hookups or quick flings. Not many, but some; it’s more common in the gay community than the straight community.The nice thing about being a Westerner is that you won’t be ostracized from your community for your sex and relationship choices for the most part. There are pockets of conservatism in the West that do things more conservatively, especially in regards to homosexuality and unconventional relationships. I spent part of my childhood in one of these places and I feel the modern, Western way is truly better. Most of my high school friends who were pressured by family to marry young are now divorced with multiple small children casualties in their divorce battle. Is it really worth waiting for marriage if you end up married to the wrong person?

Is Brexit going to ruin the Conservative government for the next decade at least especially if it all goes pear shaped?

It’s already going pear shaped wouldn’t you say?But, let’s leave Brexit aside for the moment. Let’s forget the fact that it has put the government quite literally into total disarray, divided a nation, and is already costing it dearly economically. All before we have even left, and all because of a ridiculous internal Tory party squabble that nobody really cared a shit about except for a few ageing, increasingly irrelevant politicians within the 1922 committee ( the name alone tells you all you need to know).This Conservative government is to my mind the most cruel, callous and uncompassionate elected in my lifetime.The list of policies, cutbacks, and ‘austerity measures’ they have introduced that have directly harmed the poor, the disabled, and most vulnerable in UK society makes for long and depressing reading, and is too long to list; ( see link below)Their latest innovation is something called Universal Credit. A welfare reform policy which, whatever the intentions when it was conceived, has been so badly designed, adminstered, and implemented, that it is now fuelling a rise in homelessness in towns and cities across the country.Food banks, for example, have reported that demand for charity food goes up significantly when universal credit is introduced into the local area.Can you believe it? Food Banks, and rising homelessness in 2018 in the UK. Last time I checked we are (still -for now) a member of the G7 and therefore one of the richest nations on the planet.I don’t believe even Margaret Thatcher and Norman Tebbit would have been comfortable with the levels of inequality, poverty, homelessness, and hopelessness now being experienced by ordinary working people and families in modern day Britain.Which reminds me;At Margaret Thatcher’s funeral, George Osborne ( then Chancellor of the Exchequer), was seen wiping away a tear.Yesterday it was revealed that in 2015 he ignored civil servants’ warnings that extending a public sector pay cap of 1% would force children into poverty.I think that pretty much tells you all you need to know about the Conservative party and what it really stands for, and if there is any kind of justice, Brexit will be the end of them.Sadly I believe it could well also be the end of the United Kingdom.29 nasty policies the Tories hope you'll forget in the general election

You don’t want to get married, Okay that is fine.But, you want to be single… always! You know the rules of being single? They are scary.Listen, you can’t convince your parents. The talk of society will ring louder then yours. After all its the family reputation that will be on stake.The world is exemplified with independent and successful women who are single. And please show some respect for you parent and never use emotional blackmailing.Also, you could try to explain them that how you feel about certain things that might go wrong after marriage.But first justify yourself the reason you are wanting to be single.And by what I’ve seen so far, you would never know how far you’re from a totally different life.Cheers!
