Constant Dreams Increasing And More Messed Up

How to deal with disturbing dreams?

For the last few years my most vivid dreams have been vile and disturbing. Their always about me witnessing discusting murder events on people I dont even know. eg: a woman being blended up, stabbed, people's face being cut off & worn as a mask.. Surgery without anesthetics etc. These dreams are so evil that a few times I've had to go to the bathroom afterwards incase I vomit. As if these acts arnt enough to witness theres a constant vibe throughout these dreams that makes me feel uneasy. I dont watch horror films or engage in any sick games or anything like that so I dont know where these dreams are coming from and I have no idea what to do.. Last night I had the first dream that I wasnt actually 'witnessing' something happen to somebody else but it was happening to me. Its starting to freak me out... help?

Failure is apart of success. It is required.Currently self access in all areas of life. What do you want to accomplish? And more importantly why do you want to accomplish this? Your why needs to be strong-Where do you need to improve? What will it take to improve, as well as who can assist me in creating my ideal life—Do not compare yourself to others. Block all negatives from your life. Negative energy and people can be toxic. They can shut you down very quickly. This can be thru your social circle or mindless scrolling thru social media. Change your environment.Surround yourself with happy people and people that can help you. Have positive thoughts about yourself. Positive affirmations. I am….. You need to really believe yourself when you say these things. They become who you are. The next level of this would to be record your affirmations, and listen to them daily in the morning. It is very powerful stuff, but viewed as crazy to ones who instantly shut it down since they think they are “too good” for them.

I am having constant nightmares. At the end of every dream I end up dead. This part doesn't bother me..

I am quite a religious person, so in order for me not to have bad dreams, I pray before bed and it works very well for me..

But, if you don't prefer that, you can always do this:

> Relax yourself before bed, do something fun but doesn't make you excited, read a book or something like that. (E.g. I read a Child Manga (Jap Comic) that I used to read when I was little,)

> It might be a good idea to have your mother especially to kiss you "Good Night" before you go to bed, so you will feel that even when you're asleep that your family loves you..

> Turn on your lights, or dim it, it will be a good idea to make your room a bit cheerful, calming, but not distractive.. For example, some dollies or stuffed animals would be great.. :)

> Don't do stuff like papers or homework or so on before you go to bed, it's very stressing and it'll just make everything worse..

Also, try to walk down the park in the morning or the afternoon, so then you will feel relaxed daily.. Hopefully you won't get bad dreams anymore..

Hope it helps :))

Increase my chances of dreaming at night?

Well EVERYONE dreams at night, but sometimes you can't remember your dreams. But everyone does, every night. You can't choose to dream, stop dreaming, or pick what to dream about. Dreams are the brain's subconscious activity when you sleep, so they do happen.

I usually remember my dreams more when something memorable or different happens during the day. You can think about that before you sleep.

But personally, I kind of like the mystery around dreams and how you sometimes can't remember them. Keeps things interesting :)

How come I can do what I want in my dreams?

I hope you have constant dreams from now on that your being raped and can't even help yourself out and everyone is laughing at you cause you can't escape. HOW"S THAT FEEL? This is from a rape survivor. YOU IDIOT!

Frequently medical science does not have an answer, but that is not the case in this instance. Diabetes is a deadly, debilitating and costly problem, but we know its cause and how to prevent it. (At least that is the case for type 2 diabetes which accounts for 95% of all cases.)Once considered a disorder or affluent Western adults, the pattern has shifted and the disease now affects all ages, regions and economic groups. The key factors persistently linked to diabetes are urbanization, changes in diet, and a sedentary lifestyle. Excessive caloric intake (over-nutrition) combined with decreased physical activity propels escalating obesity, the major risk factor for type 2 diabetes. Cigarette smoking is also a risk factor for type 2 diabetes, as is chronic inflammation. Despite the fact that scores of genetic loci are associated with type 2 diabetes, their influence is modest relative to risk factors such as obesity, physical inactivity and an unhealthy diet. There is plenty of sound science – both epidemiologic studies and randomized clinical trials – to show that type 2 diabetes is largely preventable through diet and lifestyle modification. For example, epidemiologic studies show increased physical activity reduces the risk of diabetes whereas inactivity increases risk. In a nutshell, when all the evidence is considered – and there is plenty of it – its the detrimental impact of a Western lifestyle – a calorie-dense diet combined with decreasing physical activity – that is at the heart of this disease. The upside is that there is compelling evidence that type 2 diabetes can be prevented by adopting a healthier lifestyle, regardless of your ethnic and racial group. And modifying your lifestyle is worth doing because the adverse consequences of diabetes are common and serious. It is true that we are better at diagnosing diabetes now than ever before, but still a third of cases in the US go undiagnosed and if we believe the projections of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1 in 3 adults will be diagnosed with diabetes by 2050.

Being too permissive or too strict, not connecting emotionally with your children, focusing on behavior management and behavioral outcomes while neglecting to nurture a close, respectful and understanding relationship, putting expectations on your child as if he or she was a little you and neglecting to see them as an individual, being overly critical, failing to balance helping your child with teaching increasing independence, failing to teach life skills, failing to provide a good education, failing to hold a child accountable for his own a tions and responsibilities, failing to give your child the tools to be a productive citizen who contributes, failing to give your child a whole, stable family life, bringing various partners in and out of your child’s life…those are off the top of my head. There are levels of needs that a child has, from the very basic food, water, and shelter to educational needs, to emotional needs, to learning independence and responsibility, to learning how to be a productive citizen. A failure to provide any of those in significant measure is very likely to ‘mess up’ a kid.

Below is a portion of an article from WebMD discussing dreams that may be of help to you and reading the full article will give you some insight to dreams and their meaning for us.And you might consider seeing a professional and discuss these dreams for further evaluation that might be helpful in ending the disturbing dreamsWorrying About Weird DreamsWhat are we to make of the crazy dreams of adults?Cognitive scientist and Duke University professor Owen Flanagan is the author of Sleep, Dreams & the Evolution of the Conscious Mind. He has written that "Bizarreness will increase ... the more you have on your mind."Bert. O. States, professor emeritus of dramatic arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara, agrees. In a paper called "Dream Bizarreness and Inner Thought," he writes, "Dreams are a psychical prism through which reality somehow gets refracted -- as opposed to reflected."Deidre Barrett is the immediate past president of the International Association of the Study of Dreams and author of Committee of Sleep. She says all dreams are a little strange by waking thought standards. "But artists and scientists report dreams we call bizarre or weird as quite positive or interesting or having creative potential."Moss tells WebMD, "Crazy dreams may actually be crazy like a fox, using wild dramas and special effects to get us to remember and pay attention to something we have been blocking out -- or simply to lighten up."Freaky Dreams

What does this dream mean/how do I get it to stop?

It appears to me that you have unresolved issues with the fact that this man was not all he appeared to be in life, that your mother by whatever means was to some extent aware of that fact, and yet loved or at least held on to him anyway. You are shocked, even a little offended by this.

On the other hand, you have grown a lot since then. Your knowledge and experience is much wider. The recurrence of the dream is for that you must come to terms with your past and your present, more developed, state of awareness and knowledge. I suggest it means that you must let go of the emotional aspect of it all and accept that your mother is a fallible person. She had an attachment that she needed at the time and some part of you resented both her and him for that. Be it true or not, she felt like she needed him and I think you need to be forgiving of her for that. Some women just feel they need a man to hold on to and for everything that went on it seems you felt that she chose him over you. But that is two different kinds of love, two different kinds of need.

I'm not saying she was right, only that she was doing what she felt she had to do for herself. Try to be understanding of that, for her sake and for yours.

In relativity - you are always advised to consider how things look to a “stationary observer” and to the guy in the spaceship. For a guy in the spaceship - Force=mass x acceleration. So if he applies a force then the ship will go faster in direct proportion to the force applied. He can keep accelerating faster and faster without limit. However, for a guy back here on Earth, he’d notice that as the spacecraft got faster and faster - it looks like the guy on board the spaceship is walking around the cabin in slow motion! Everything he does is getting more and more sluggish and slow. Although the guy on board clearly thinks he’s adding a lot of speed - we can see that he’s kidding himself - he thinks he’s going faster - but really his “reality” is slowing down! Slowing down to the extent that he’s NEVER going to reach the speed of light. As he gets closer and closer to that speed - time for him is going so slowly that it takes 100 years for his heart to beat once!So it’s true that you can accelerate forever - but it’s also true that as far as anyone else is concerned, you’re not ever going to go faster than the speed of light.Time isn’t the only thing that gets messed up from the perspective of the guy back on Earth - the spaceship also seems to be stretching out, getting longer and longer - and heavier and heavier too. That increase in mass is why it’s not accelerating as much anymore… Force=mass x acceleration still applies - so the more massively heavy the ship becomes, the less acceleration it gets for whatever force it’s engines apply. For the guy on the spaceship - if he looks out the window, the universe seems to be in “fast forwards” - everything is changing very quickly out there - and if he keeps on piling on the acceleration, the stars that he’s flying towards might run out of fuel and die before he can get to them!
