Should I go to the doctor or what?

Allergies and a constant itch or tickle deep in the nose?

Every year starting in April May or so I begin to get serious allergies. I typically just sneeze a lot but I also always have this same problem with a constant itch or tickle up deep in my nose which causes a lot of discomfort and usually much more sneezing. I am wondering what it is and if something can be done to make the itching/tickle go away permanently.

I am not going to constatnly push water/saline solution up my nose, it doesn't help. I usually take Zertec and Fluctonase as needed, and they don't stop the itch/tickle.

How can a humidifier help me get rid of a runny nose?

First of all just a Humidifier may not be a solution to runny nose. This answer is lengthy, but if you are looking at permanently reducing these symptoms, NATURALLY without any side effects, please read on.We breathe in variety of environments all through the day, hence the primary reason for any breathing disorder (runny nose, wheezing, sore throat, allergy, asthma etc) are the intake of these pollutants that causes inflammation and infection of the airway passage. This is the primary cause of runny nose. Children and senior citizens are most affected as they have sensitive airways. The breathing trouble and other respiratory symptoms may easily be reduced if the volume of toxin (pollutant) entering the body can be reduced. An air purifier can help in reducing the overall toxin intake. But, not all air purifiers are designed to deliver what they promise. Air purifiers are intangible, hence please verify the claims and results before choosing the right one.Now coming to humidifiers - Managing humidity of ~60% RH in the room can actually hydrate our body well and reduce the probability of breathing discomfort. However this is a temporary solution. The best way to manage the humidity indoor is either by keeping a bowl of water or by using a device which uses NATURAL EVAPORATION Technique and not just produce mist. Natural Evaporation ensures uniform humidity in the entire room. Additionally the relative humidity does not exceed ~60 to 62% as evaporation slows down at that levels. The Sharp Air Purifier & Humidifier ensures holistic comfort and superior cleaning of dust mites, mold, fungus through it’s award winning and certified Plasmacuster Technology. The HEPA Filter and Carbon filter ensures reduction of dust and allergens. It achieves natural evaporation through washable filters dipped in water and the air purifier fan helps dissipate the evaporated water vapour. The SAFE, AWARDED & CERTIFIED Sharp Air Purifiers ensures that you are able to reduce runny nose & other respiratory symptoms within 7 to 10 days of usage and improvement of overall immunity over a period of time. I'm always sick, with a constant stuffed nose, sore throat and headache. I went to my doctor multiple times but after more than 6 months he can't find a solution. What can I do?

What would you expect your doc would find?As a doc I would say of course they find nothing at all.A headache usually is a tension headache. Are you overly stressed, tired, overworked, not sleeping enough?People have upper respiratory tract infections all the time, more in the seasons where people congregate thus having more chance of picking up upper respiratory tract infection with lots of people coughing and sneezing around one.  Since there are around 200 kinds or viruses causing these kinds of infection, you won't develop enough immunity to all of them.It helped me personally not only working hard, but taking time to relax and recoup in between.

Twitching and constant need to move around and stretch muscles. Help please?

Hi, I have this twitching problem. It occurs almost everywhere in my body but mainly in my neck and face. In my neck I have sudden twitching as if something is trying to get out of my neck, each side twitching separately at a time. For my face I have the constant need to scrunch my nose or lift my nose and eye in rapid succession or sometimes scrunch my whole face. Sometimes I twitch individual parts of my face(eyes, nose, forehead). Its sort of a hard wink along with the nose. I also sometimes feel the need to stretch my mouth or shift my jaw to the side. Then I will sometimes stretch my neck to the side along with my eye and cheek/mouth.

There are times when I twitch my biceps and the section between the bicep and forearm. For my legs I'll twitch my thighs, shin/calves, and butt(lol its true though). There are times when I feel discomfort in my shoulders and upper back and I feel the need to move them around, stretch them in weird ways, or have the upper back blades (lack of better term) twitch. I just have a feeling of discomfort with my shoulders and back at times.

Does anyone know what this could be? I show signs of social anxiety disorder, and I am certain I have it as I went to a psychologist, but I don't think it is a primary cause. I have been having these twitches and discomfort of the body since I was 7 or 8 (since I last remember) and I'm 18 now. I can hide it in public but not entirely. In public the only twitch I have is the occasional neck twitch and of course the shoulder/upper back discomfort. In school I have the neck twitch and when it occurs occasionally, I will stretch my mouth out to cover it up.

I know this is a lot to read but I really need help on figuring what this is. Could it be restless leg syndrome? Or something else. Please help, this has haunted me for most of my life and preventing me from being more social. :(

Headache, stuffy nose,sore throat?

So I've had these symptoms for about a day. The headache isn't constant though, it's only when I move my neck in a certain way. But when it does hurt its REALLY bad, it starts throbbing insanely and it kinda feels like my head will explode. The sore throat and the stuffy nose are constant. I really want to know what this is, please help.

What can I use for scabs in my nose?

I assume you have checked with your doctor, and there is no disease process causing the scabs. If so, the cause is probably dry air.It is the job of your nose to humidify the air you inhale. That’s why it has such labyrinthine passages. If the ambient air is very dry, nasal tissues can desiccate. The best cure is actually prevention. Humidify the air you breathe, at least in your home. Get a belt or absorption humidifier. They put the most moisture into the air. Mine (I have 2) disperse about 3 gallons each a day in the middle of winter, when my home is driest. One does the downstairs, and one does the bedroom/bathroomSee Scabs in the nose: Causes and remedies for more information,PS Be careful of using any petroleum-based lubricant in your nose. Use it very sparingly, as it can cause an inhalation pneumonia if it gets into your lungs. Nasal application of petrolatum ointment - A silent cause of exogenous lipoid pneumonia: Successfully treated with prednisolone

3 Nose Bleeds in one day?

I suggest you see a doctor about your nose. Constant nosebleeds are a sign of a problem.
