There's a remarkable lack of good software to bring all these platforms together and even though Gist (Quora thread: Gist (company)) tries to do this it fails on a couple of points.Slow and bulky UI (I really DON'T want to use it)No two way sync with for e.g Google ContactsJust like you I also use Google Contacts as my base and since I have two active Google Apps domains I use Soocial.com (Quora thread: Soocial) to sync the info between these two accounts. I have an iPhone and Thunderbird synced with Google Contacts aswell, so whenever I enter information into any of the devices they are in sync with the main Google Contacts.This functionality is way to good and transparent for me to drop in favour of a service like Gist.Since my iPhone syncs with Google contacts there are a bunch of alternatives in the form of different apps to stay up to date with the LinkedIn and Facebook contacts aswell. What I do now is that if I want LinkedIn connections in my contacts list I use the built in download feature in the LinkedIn app (http://www.linkedin.com/iphone) from the connections menu. It adds new connections to your iPhone adress book. The same goes for the Facebook app (Quora thread: Facebook (iOS App)) it also has a sync button in the friends menu which is actually more automatic than the LinkedIn one meaning it will stay in sync and not just download new contacts.Since I usually don't really need my Facebook and LinkedIn synced I haven't looked into other alternatives just yet. Most of the times I have more contact information in the phone from having met people and scanned business cards than people put onto these social networks.You mentioned manual handling of duplicates. I use the built in Find duplicates feature in Google Contacts for this, on your right hand side just after you entered the contacts menu.Also if you have an Android or some other smart phone the scenario might look a bit different.

Thinking about using a Ouija Board to contact my best friend? How do I go about this?
My best friend on this planet, Meka was suddenly gone in 2001, of a Asthma attack. It has been 8 years and she died when I was 10, and not one day goes by that I don't miss my best friend, she was like my sister. I never got to say goodbye we were playing in my yard the day before. But that was the last time I saw her I miss her so much it kills me. My other friend and I (we were Meka's 2 best friends) were planning on using a Ouija Board to try to contact her. We are going to have holy water close by and before we start the seccion drink a little bit of holy water and say a prayer to protect us. and we will have some of Meka's clothes she let me barrow before she passed. How can I do this right to make sure I get Meka and possibly my friends Dad,(the friend who is doing the board with me), my uncle, 2 other friends that were killed 2007 in a car accident, or my mom parents I never met. How do I do this help me I am consulting a Medium now.
