Contacts Trouble And I Have To Play Ball Tomorrow No Matter What

Is it possible to get my ex-girlfriend back after 4 months of no contact?

I’ve got my ex back after 8 MONTHS! EIGHT! And I was a desperate case.Every single person was telling me to move on and release this feelings, still I didn’t listen to anyone and I’ve got what I knew was not finished. If you have done the no contact that’s a good thing, and I guess you’re the one who has been dumped and I’ll also tell you that it’s a good thing. Normally whoever was dumped will find a way to get better by doing things for him self, this it’s called self surviving! In the 4th month you’re probably struggling between moments of feeling normal again by yourself and moments of extreme desperation of wanting her back to feel hole again. That’s normal. Or the worst scenario you’re accepting the relationship it’s over and you’re suffering like there is no tomorrow ( but if you’re here on Quora, it means you’re not ready to let go).Now what I can tell you from my personal experience:-if you 2 had a strong relationship, one of the 2 will fall and contact the other one, if there is still resentment and anger, 4 months are NOT enough.-If she moved on to the next one it’s even better, soon the new relationship will reveal its falls and she’ll come contact you ( somehow) as soon as this will happen. Than it’s gonna be your time to reject. Rejection normally attracts people!Good luck! You’ll be fine in any way!

My eyes burn really badly, can't get my contacts in, had a habanero pepper last night?

The spice on that pepper got on your hands, and will stay there for a while, no matter how many times you wash them! i'd give it a few days before you touch your eyes again, or your face, or your... down-belows... it can be VERY damaging to sensitive tissues!

Should a man contact a woman after the first date?

You should definitely call her. Girls usually will not call and text first. She will be waiting for you to call her. Call her. Also, I don't think the 3-day rule is necessary. In fact, if a guy waits until the 3rd of 4th day to call me back, the excitement of the date has worn off by that time and I am less likely to hang out with him again. Just call her the next day. You won't appear needy...unless you actually are, in which case no rules would hide that. ;-)

How can I not be afraid while in a basketball match?

YOU: (about defender),This guy can shut me out. There’s no way i can reach the hoop while this guy guarding me.HIM: I should be careful. This guy(YOU) can make me look like fool.i should give my best to guard him.Trust me, you are not the only one on the court, your opponent is also in the court.Being scared of what other guy might do to get what he want,is always MUTUAL.That’s the primal thing that made the basketball game so beautiful,Not just basketball but any game. That feeling helps to amplify your attributes in the game. For your sake,Do these Tips to overcome your problems on the court:-When you got the ball,HOLD it,HOLD the ball hard,it gives you boost and confidence. And look your defender in the eye,eye him hard.Always talk to your team while playing, Basketball is a talkative game. Because of that, your defender thinks that ,your are not scared of him and you are a team player. If you think you might get your shot blocked, think about how allen iverson and muggsy bogues should thought about crossing the defender.Allen iverson plays the game like it was the last game in his life and tomorrow he might die.Thats doesn’t mean he might get blockedHE got blocked by opponents so many times, that’s why he was in the NBA.If you think you might get blocked, then go for it, GO FOR IT AS HARD AS YOU CAN.Your defender is not wilt chamberlian to block all your shots.GO FOR THE HOOP- GET BLOCKED - OUT MOVE YOUR OPPONENT MOVESI know what i am talking, because i used be like that.

Volleyball Questions Please?

regular scoring is where, if my team is serving, and we don't get it over, you just get the ball and no point. rally scoring is where my team is serving and we miss, you get the ball AND a point. (so in rally- EVERY ball counts) a carry/lift is where you make too long of a contact with the ball. there are man ways of doing this. for the last question, it depends on your league's regulations. i played in a league where at first it was a bad serve to hit the net then make it over, but the next year it changed to being legal.

In basketball, what does it mean to "play physical"?

To play physical is to take the space before the opposing team does and holding your ground. Your basketball instinct and court awareness should tell you where you should be balancing of the floor. On defense, you should immediately "square" your opponent and know where he is most comfortable. Right handed guards tend to like to dribble right. Post up, right handed forwards/centers tend to like to camp underneath the hoop to their strong hand. Your job is to defend their comfort zones and hold your ground no matter what. Do this, simply get there before they do and force them to use other space. If the guards are boxing you out and getting better position on you, they are simply beating to the spot. A good way to take up space on defense is to use your legs and foot work. If you're standing too straight up and down, you're not taking up maximum floor space. Feet wide, hands out, and deny your opponent their comfort zones. You will force the offensive into turning over the ball and playing out of control (and will get the calls in your favor). A little trick you can practice if your battling for position is to pivot through your defender using your foot to the spot you battling for. Impress your coaches with these fundamentals and congrats on making the team.

I need someone who seriously knows a ton about jump serving and is willing to write a lot. Please please help.

2. there are obviously different types of serves. it depends on where you want the ball to go and who you are serving to. you really wont have topspin and sidespin at the same time.
3. If you are trying to hit the back line it is best to go for the corners. This, however gives you very little room for error. but yes, id say either serving deep or serving really short is a good way to go.
4. They toss really high because it gives them more time to step it out and jump into the air(b/c they are usually freakishly good jumpers) and they want to contact the ball with their arm pretty much extended.
5. That would be quicker, and maybe give the other team less time to guess where she was serving to. In alot of different players I've watched they really don't all serve and jumpserve the same way. Maybe she learned that way and is such an effective server that a coach wouldn't ask her to change it.
6..Well, Unless youre at the national level or anything, I do not believe that little detail is a huge difference. You just need to practice the length of your steps, practice tossing the ball to that spot, and do it consistently.
7.You need to make sure you are contacting the ball high up. also, remember to roll your hand up and snap over the ball.

hope this helps.

EDIT::
i just want to say a few things about the person below me's answer.
first of all, a floater is not a hard down ball, and does not have any spin. so, they must not know much about serving at all(but, i'm sure you would have noticed it if I didn't point it out.).
Also, you do not want to look where you are serving to start with, because that tells the other team exactly where you're serving.
however, you want to follow through the direction you are serving and not look down, or out of the court, when you finish your motion.
